We are in Wellington for a few days. We walk through the streets, stroll along the promenade, ride the cable car and visit the botanical gardens. We follow the lab caches, which often lead us to unusual places. We visit many places in Wellington and enjoy the breaks with a delicious coffee. This series was good to complete. Most of them were quickly found and signed. Now we just have to check whether we have fulfilled them. Many thanks to all the owners and greetings from the MoorhelmiMoorhelmierfllt die ChallengeActing Dotty for Regulars Challenge (Wellington) (GCAQXYV)gemhttps://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQXYV/88696
I signed this one off back in September but had to wait until today to complete the challenge. Today's one I've driven past a number of times in the last few months and have been tempted to stop and find it but I withheld the temptation knowing it would likely be the only viable option to find today. I'm sad to read that the original ammo can has gone, I'm still impressed with the size of it. Thanks for the challenge barefootguru#17494
Rules & checker (thanks tS) have been updated to help with the original intention of going out & finding a cache every day: other challenge caches can no longer be used towards this challenge.
DNF on my visit and now back home in Invercargill. CO has said I can log it as was missing. Don't qualify yet but might get it at the end of the month.
I'm pleased to qualify for this one. A nice quick find here[boxhill](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=boxhill) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQXYV/88696 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Cheers and TFTC

Out grabbing some challenge caches today. Thanks for the variety. I happily have qualified for them all.My first encounter of a regular calendar challenge so I was pleased to see that I qualify. What I call a USA regular is my favourite Geocaching container. The one here is a little larger. Most impressive. Worth a fave.I did once come across an RPG container in Florida which was the final of a Wherigo.TFTC [Marchwood](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Marchwood) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQXYV/88696 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.I've filled the following months:FebruaryJuly
That's a nice big regular, unfortunately at the moment I don't qualify yet, the easiest month for me to complete is November so hopefully on the 29th I can complete this challenge
This challenge is a little more challenging than the previous ones we've found today as there aren't so many of this size around. Luckily for me the checker says I have qualified for October and November - yeah! What a lovely spot - at least it was once the man-eating dog and its owner passed by. Paddle chick hauled the huge cache out from its hiding hole and replaced it too. Have a favourite here barefootguru. TFTC # 22,519
Won't be qualified for this one for a while, but took the oppy to sign the log in anticipation while I was in this neck of the woods. Cache in good order. Thanks barefootguru
I looked at this when it acme out, and there were waaaaay too many regular dot days on my calendar to make it worth dashing out. Called by a couple of weeks ago to check this out while strategizing which month would be the most feasible to attempt to fill the voids.[Infoferret](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Infoferret) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQXYV/88696 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.I've filled the following months:JulyToday being both a regular dot day and a challenge dot day, I popped by to complete the formalities. Cache still in fine fettle! TFTC.
Other jobs done across town, time to head out 'box hunting'. I don't qualify for this one yet, but though I ought to sign this off while the area looked reasonably quiet (just one person on the field whacking golf balls). However, this cut through is dog walker central - I got passed by 3 pooches and their humans, while I was walking to and from the cache!Great container - haven't seen one like this for a while! Log signed in the hope that I remember to find 3 regular caches in July. Picked up TB to move them along.
It's another size Regular dot day and after studying the map for a bit I picked this one. I do love challenge caches! Took the train into town, then the bus to the Brooklyn shops then the bus to near here. It stopped at the the road above and I took the path down and over the bridge.Wow. This is hardly a regular cache! Way to upgrade the container!! Yeah, totally a favourite!!The problem with dot days is that they discourage caching. *Don't get the next cache - I'll need it for the next dot day* But actually "ordinary" caches don't ft my dot days anymore, so I am trying to put more effort into getting more. There are four others nearby, between here and the coast. One does fit a dot day requirement so I walked down to get the other three. It was dark long before I arrived here, and it was way dark once I got home - although still only 8pm.Collected a TB, and dropped off a couple of others.---[the Seagnoid](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=the%20Seagnoid) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAQXYV/88696 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.I've filled the following months:FebruaryAprilOctoberNovemberDecember
Called here this afternoon, a quick find. Definitely a jumbo-sized "regular" cache, bordering on the "large" I think. A container type I haven't seen before too. Good to know that the CO won't be going completely dotty and putting out a yearly challenge any time soon
Hmmmm, a very confusing Script Output from the checker. Are the red squares the ones you've got? Or the ones you need?
