Apologies for the late log - semi retirement is busy!! lolWe're staying in Point Lonsdale for a few days and today is our Anniversary We spent the morning doing some caching then came back to the holiday house for a late lunch. The weather was looking a bit dicy so we stayed put for a while then it cleared up so we set off again to this new estate at Point Lonsdale. This cache was a nice easy find and we are enjoying the views that the group of caches are bringing us to and even determined that if this lovely estate with its water ways was on the Eastern side of Melbourne we would consider moving there, but with having to negotiate the Westgate Bridge or any West to East traversion every time we would want to come back to visit family or friends, we couldnt really bring ourselves to make that choice lol. The houses are probably worth twice as much as ours anyway lol Thanks for bringing us to this pretty place!TFTC Evie_and_Luke - GJMMelb
Requiring a MHD, it was relaxing to look around this new estate and discover a few new caches.Cache: Needed to wait for the council works to move on before locating the hide.Dropped off a trackable to move on its journey.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache Evie_and_Luke #8 119
Found! Quick find! Forgot a pencil though I took a photo of the log as proof!Left a little treasure
Taking advantage of this lovely sunny day we toured the Bellarine Peninsula using a newly released labcache as our tour guide, of coarse we also sought out newly published caches since our last visit. This will be a good access to the walkway from Shell Rd once that side has been open allowing for easier access to the cache. Today however without any houses yet built we were able to park close and seek out the well hidden cache. Thanks Evie_and_Luke for the placement.
Lovely little hide in this growing area tftc 5:48 37 finds for the day and home time
Well this was a case of looking everywhere except the right spot! Even a PAF didn't cut it at first, but eventually I got it. Such is caching!
I checked to confirm that the cache is still intact after landscaping works. It's nice to see people leaving their tokens and trinkets.
We were out shopping in Geelong and then in Ocean Grove on our way home. Since we had taken less time than we expected, we decided to detour to Point Lonsdale. We haven't been in this part of Point Lonsdale for a while, and it has undoubtedly changed. We drove as close as we could, parked the geomobile Rogue, and then went to GZ.We made a reasonably quick find. After signing the logbook, the cache returned to its spot. We then spent some time watching the swans.Thank you, Evie_and_Luke, for this Traditional cache.
Thanks to Evie_and_Luke for this hide.It felt like we were at the end of the world out here, the landscapers were busy finishing off the plantings and mulching but thankfully they were a good distance from the GZ location.Spotted the container and signed the log.It was nice to find our way here and we did take a moment to take in the quiet surroundings.A favourite from us for your first collection of hides.
