Well, I managed to attend this event today, thanks to n0w0rries + wife. It was fabulous to catch up with other like minded event tragics and the sausages were fabulous. Thanks GeocachingVictoria for hosting this event, I hope it was successful and that you didn't run out of snags.
Thank you to EVERYONE who came and supported Geocaching Victoria either by buying a sausage and/or a drink or by helping cook and serving sausages or in some cases BOTH.Yes it did get cold and very wet today but we had a steady visit of customers and geocachers which was lovely to see.
Headed here with +Wife and micaparamedic after attending the Central Vic Monthly Meetup in Strathfieldsaye. The snags were delicious and the company fantastic.Thank you to Geocaching Victoria, the volunteers and Bunnings.
Attended with n0w0rries and micaparamedic. We swung by on our way home from the earlier event in Strathfieldsaye.Thank for the event GVI.
It was a cold and wet day but we still managed to meet some fellow cachers and sell some sausages. This is a great fundraiser to support operational and event costs for Geocaching Victoria. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped on the day, and to those who generously donated towards the cost of sausages for the day. I had a great morning having a yak and meeting fellow cachers, cooking a few sausages helped in keeping warm also. Thank you Geocaching Victoria Committee for organizing the event. See you at the next one.Greytiger
It was cold and wet outside today, but it was warm and dry inside the Bunnings BBQ tent while I served sausages to the people who were wanting to purchase them.Thank you GeocachingVictoria for organising this event, while we raised money for GeocachingVictoria.
I had a couple of caches that needed maintenance that were on this side of town, so I headed to those before calling by here to say hello and buy a drink. Thanks to GeocachingVictoria for organising the event.
Of course Mary & David were there. D ate 2 sausages and pronounced them just superb. Headed off to Macca's for a coffee, then a cache. Our thanks to GeocachingVictoria.
Chook was able to organise an overnight trip to Melbourne, so she could finally attend one of these fabulous fundraising events for GVI, volunteering for the lunchtime shift. Had a ball and will try to do it again next time. Thank you to GVI for hosting and in particular to grub62 for all the work that goes into running these BBQ events. Without this sort of fundraising, we don't get nice things like Megas and COTY and Cachemas. Thank you.
I attended and bought a couple of sausages for lunch. Thanks, GV, for organising such a great event and upcoming events.
Was happy to grab a couple of snags and say hi to the other cachers braving the wet and cold weather today.
I love sausages! I bought 4 and a drink and shared with my mum. The rain on the tent was dripping on my head as we were being served! Thank you
Just moved to the area, with this event around the corner we will have to stop by this arvo to get a sausage and say hi
With any outdoor plans scuttled due to the weather, I asked hubby if he needed anything from Bunnings and yes he did! It was nice to pop in and say hello and buy a couple of supporter's sausages. Thanks Geocaching Vic for hosting and to those helping out. Sausage was cooked well, can recommend!
I put my hand up to volunteer my time to help raise funds for GeocachingVictoria. It was nice to catch up with everyone whilst I was there. Thanks GeocachingVictoria for organising Mernda BBQ we had a great time.
I'll try to get there in the afternoon, after an event in Bendigo in the morning.
I will definitely make it my business to come buy some sausages yet again! Thanks for hosting!
Chook has made arrangements to be in Melbourne for this day, and will be serving on the lunchtime shift.
