Passing thru Paeroa today so decided to have another look for this one as it had been replaced. Arrived at GZ to see that the host had had a major haircut. Feared the worse for the cache but on looking it was still there. So I sign and put the log back. Thank you for the placement.
We were heading home from a days caching in Matamata, and we stopped to find a few caches as we head home. Once we found our way around and into this prickly tree we soon spotted cache. We stopped to check out the nice mural nearby, before returning to the cache mobile. TFTC
Over this way today picking up a few caches for different challenges that Im working on. Nicely hidden here, TFTC
We were very pleased to turn this one into a smiley today after a DNF a few weeks ago.At first it was a game of round and round the mulberry bush but then the container was spotted and the log carefully retrieved.Fortunately there wasn't a lot of traffic around as it was quite early in the day but we still had to be stealthy as the occasional car drove past.Nice mural on the building nearby.TFTC
No luck here last time but thanks to a couple of of cachers for the tidy replacement Back in town enjoying a beautiful day and gathering some caches. Good to clear this one TFTC
nothing to be found here today.rang previous finder who confirmed that we re in right spot.so what to do.left temporary replacement container and log sheet.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) We attended MCCs farewell event in Taupiri this morning. The plan was to jump onto the HRT (trail) by the afternoon. We took a small deviation to Miranda first, and then we were onThis cache should have been a natural progression from the HRT caches. We arrived at a fairly busy spot and looked inward. It didnt take long to conclude that the cache was gone, and we confirmed some details with the last finders. What to do? We decided to leave a replacement hide, and we emailed the CO as a courtesy. Thanks Jackson2895.
No luck for us today, think it might be gone.We'll be back the next time we are in the area.
Had family down so we decided to go for a drive over this wayNice easy find thanks

Night 1 of our two day adventure doing the Rail Trail with BearCache #33Total found so far: 30After checking in and dropping off our bags, headed out for a evening ride around town to collect a few local onesQuickly found, signed, returned
**21,690**We had been saving this cache as a way to fill one of the required spots on our grid for this month for a challenge cache. We realised what the cache name referred to but were confused by the description until we arrived at GZ. What a fantastic mural, that we hadn't notice previously (usually by the time we are passing through the area, we are tired and just wanting to hit Maccas before heading towards home). The cache was a nice quick find, nice and quiet here this evening. TFTC
Some of the team SEAC crew had been in the general area a little while ago but ran out of time to cache this area so today was all about fixing that up! The weather was great, company fab, ended with no DNFs and quite a nice number for everyone. Super quick find here. Enjoyed the wall mural close by!Thanks for the cache.
Lovely winters day for an outing with some of the team SEAC crew from Auckland. Made quick work of this one. TFTC!
Out and about in the area caching today with a number of cachers from Team SEAC (a group of cachers from South and East Auckland that often cache together). Today there was Keylev, Laval., NurseDr, FleurScott, and Mrs NZT. Logs signed as SEAC to save space.A nice quick find here after completing the ad labs in town
Quick find due to the fact that the cache was the opposite of camoed, so it stuck out like a sore thumb, once I poked my nose in the right hole. TFTC
Parked up in Paeroa with rattll for the long weekend. A leisurely breakfast soon turned into flurry of activity when the new cache alert came through, only a few hundred metres from where we sat.Quick- marched to GZ, a brief hunt before finding. A note to the CO, the container needs to be connected to it's support, or it'll soon blow away! Joint [FTF]. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Matagouri and I have spent the long weekend enjoying the area with walking, cycling and geocaching the main focus. However, as we lounged around this morning, enjoying a leisurely breakfast, this new cache was published. A quick check showed it was only a few hundred meters away, so the coffee was put down and a mad flurry of grabbing shoes, jackets etc resulted in us being out the door fairly quickly.It didn't take very long to find the cache, although I'm not sure how long this type of container will last in this environment. Thanks for setting this up, and giving us the motivation to get moving early this morning joint {FTF}
