Wow... how has it been a week since WAGB24 already.We hope you had as much fun in Augusta as we did and are looking forward to another great event in Mandurah next year.If you picked up any trackables at the hall over the weekend please make sure you add them to your inventory and keep them moving.Some people asked about merch over the weekend and we have decided to reopen the range of shirts, hats and jackets for orders. Thank you for the CITO West Oz Geocaching! Dropped off a bag of rubbish that we had collected throughout the day.Teaming up with ullyssia and Photo-Play today, we looked for the Letterbox series and East Augusta caches in the morning, then went back to town for the WAGB24 events, lunch and a few more finds in the area - some new ones and a few that we missed when we came over last June. We continued with the Ant series and finished off with some night caching after dinner. A great day for being out and about!
After a big day out and about we made it back time to log this event. West Oz Geocaching I attended your event today, that makes it my 164th geocaching event. This was the 81st of 89 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8954.TFTC

Day #9. My last minute WAGB adventure continues today and its the big one! My first WAGB! Looking forward to the days adventures. Thank you! Day 3 of the 2024 WAGB road trip. I teamed up with papillon367 and Photo-Play to find a variety of caches around Augusta and attend a few events. Thanks so much for organising this CITO. The team collected some rubbish during our caching during the day to drop off here.
WAGB 24, well I couldn't miss the 11th WA goes big! Day two we headed out on the trails for some of the awesome caches in the area, looking forward to catching up with everyone tonight at the sun downer event. So many events on this weekend, I will try and get to most of them and of course there'll be plenty of laughs and fun to be had. Today is day two of WAGB 2024 and we are looking forward to a big day. Given our apartment is near the Bakery we started the day with a yummy breakfast from the Bakery and picked up a nearby cache before heading to the Community Hall for the first event. After collecting another near by cache we set off with Pommie Parkin 2 to team up and geocache together out at the Letter box series down Scott River Road . These Letter Box series were a very nice variety of interesting hides , most were straight forward however there were a few that you needed waders to get to them , in Liu of no waders it was just a case of jumping in and getting wet our feet wet. However this all added to the fun of the morning . So did having to quickly get out of the way for a tractor carrying rather large hay bails . Once all the Letter boxes were found we calculated the bonus and soon headed in that direction. Definitely giving a favourite for the series . We bid the Pommie Parkins farewell and we set off back into Augusta on our own and collected a few more traditionals along the way before hitting the Skippy Rock Road series and then clearing up the remaining ones from the Last Trail to Antartica series and other traditionals around Augusta before making our way to the CITO. All in all a fabulous days geocaching.
After caching in the outskirts of Augusta, made a dash back to attend this Event.
We came to clean, but this area already looks super tidy... so we picked up what there was & kept a bag for some trash pickin' while cachin' tomorrow??????TFTE????
Hi there West Oz Geocaching. Today is Day 3 of our 2nd Augusta trip and we decided to keep our geocaching around Augusta today. While out on the road today we found this cache at 0340pm after a short search

I went over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time I decided to head back over for this years event in Augusta.So I flew into Perth again and after staying in Busselton for a couple of days and then Albany for a few more days and caching with Roaming Howie around there I finally made it to Augusta on Thursday afternoon.So I caught up with Roaming Howie again and we will see how much of Augusta we can see and do.So after doing some trails north and finding caches as we went it was time to head back in to town to met up again and help do our bit to clean up Augusta.Of course there was time to sneak in a couple caches as well.Thanks West Oz Geocaching TFTEC?

We lost track of time but managed to call in briefly after most people had left. Had a bag of rubbish so took it back to the hotel and disposed of it there!
With a population of surely not much more than 1000 and many of them retirees, Im not sure how the town can really benefit from 3 CITOs across 4 days. There was no rubbish here last night and none I could see today. Made for a very brief stop. Thanks for trying to clean up an already clean town.
Down in the amazing South West region enjoying all thats on offer. Managed to spend 4 days in Busselton and 4 days in Augusta. WAGB is always a holiday in my years planning and this was no different. Looking forward to seeing all the teams make it down to WAGB this year in Augusta as well as finding all the amazing Caches that have been placed by the locals for all to find.
Finally got around to booking accommodation, so will now formally indicate my plans to attend.
