Find No: 9621. Out with shaneo58 for the morning, we won some, we lost some, but it beats mowing the lawn, thanks for the cache Deni_f!!

Dropped eldest novo off at a safe drivers course in the CBD this morning. Youngest geokid and I then took off for three hours to climb some trees. Brought a TOTT up with us just in case but it didn't leave the roof rack all day. This one was trickier than it looks. But we now have our siggie on the brand new log sheet. TFTC, Deni_f.#2046

Nice tree climb (free climb). TFTC

It's quite obvious to me when I'm climbing one of the COs trees that his arms, legs and torso are a bit longer than mine. Got there in the end, I'm glad nobody was around to see me. TFTC

Thanks deni_f for this fun series. I found this before running into you elsewhere today. A nice little cache JUST within reach, and didn't need an artificial ladder, after a bit of a scramble up.I'm going to thank my parents for the (DNA) ladder they left me. 6 foot comes in handy!I agree with a previous finder... easier up than down!

Great day out caching with Shaneo58 and BillHill531. I live in this area so went down early, spotted the cache but we ended up leaving this one till last. A fave from me because we had a fun day - I learnt lots about fishing and climbing.

Took a while to spot this, but quick in hand once spotted.Signed log and Cache replaced as found.**Thanks For The Cache** Deni_f.This is the 23rd cache of 23 for today making a grand total of 4475 at 4:15PM on this Thursday the 5th of September in the Year 2024

I had organised a day's caching with BillHill531 and Kaz444 today with this cache first before heading out else where around Kurri, Morpeth, Maitland,Tenambit and anywhere in between. Trouble was it was on the wrong side of the road, but ended being the last cache of the day. A great day was had by all. It was fitting to finish up were we started. There was no way I could get to the find free climbing after the day I had had, so reverted to a mechanical device to claim the prize.. A great day out caching, most of them yours.. Hope you are happy with the favs. TFTC Deni_f

Mr minion and I were having a day out caching today to clear a few new caches of the map, this cache turned out to be quite the adventure. we got to GZ and saw the cache straight away and up I went without thinking, maybe that was the problem because I soon realised I could not actually reach the cache but worse still when I started to climb down, I realised I was actually stuck, I could not get back across to where I had come from, I guess there is a reason I do not do tree climbs alone, so after a few " I told you so's " Mr Minion went back to the car and got the small TOTT and then it was a quick sign and replace. Thanks for the cache Den f, one I am sure will not be forgotten. tnln replaced as found sl

Luckily it was a dry today so I could climb without too much difficulty. That nubbin is pretty small though Luckily Im tall enough I could do it from lower down. Though doing up a bison tube with one hand is a trick!

#7833***FTF***FTF, sitting at home, doing almost nothing, sounds good!Headed out, put the ladder in the car just in case (foreshadowing). After a short drive we were here, and where the heck is it!?!Spotted it and I went up, but the last step to the nub was like ice, wet and slippery, and there was no way I was going to try that. Headed to the car and put the ladder up for a quick retrieval, sign and replace. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache Deni_f

#7833 ***FTF***We had just exploded the contents of the kitchen cupboards across the kitchen, with the intention of maybe replacing a water filter tap. Then the FTF alarm sounded - we'll tidy up later.... We donned shoes, and grabbed an umbrella, a pen and the ladder (just in case) and headed out into the rain.We walked to GZ, spotted the cache after a brief search - there are a few candidate trees around here, then after Samuel tried a free climb in the wet, went back for our 'Nature's Ladder' - aluminium is a natural product after all - the most abundant metallic element under our feet too.A quick retrieve and replace shared by team members, and another FTF... SmileThanks for the cache!
