My sons exams are over and Auckland Universities mid semester break is about to begin. Time to come down to collect him. I had originally planned to come down on Sunday but a flat tyre on Friday night messed up my Saturday plans of 3 ftfs.I love a good catch up with fellow geocachers so it didn't take much to change my plans. I had also seen a new cache in Wellsford and was inspired to try for the ftf. Logs a few days ago suggested that the local geocacher down there had something on this weekend with their dog so I liked my chances. I was very pleased I got the ftf there for my ftf dot day. I had a great chat to lots of familiar faces at the event nearby and it was also very nice to meet a few others too. Off to see the Grandkids afterwards and back to Whangarei tomorrow for my own event to celebrate joining this crazy hobby 10 years ago. I loved this group {FTF} hunt after the event as well. Thanks Mike for organising this extra bit of fun Smile

Nice team find and meeting a bunch of the caching crew

Despite him being in the vicinity, we didn't have the CO around to measure for armpit height (some suggested perhaps he was standing on his tippy toes). A nice easy find, and a great time with Team Hangover for a joint {FTF}. TFTC!
