A bit more uphill quite steeply so we were grateful for the break to be able to go sideways here and look for the Geocache. Bits of shade were quite welcome as it is quite warm under the blue spring sky today. Thanks GSC2000 for placing this series along the Trail for us all to enjoy. Domsky
My smart phone took me to a location that didn't match the hint. So I did a bit of a circuit, being careful not to tread on any orchids, and eventually I found the cache. Thanks GSC2000 for the LBH cache!2nd cache on the walk up to Gibraltar Rocks.
Didnt have time to reach the top today but nice to be able to grab a couple of lower caches during our visit, both in excellent condition. TFTC GSC2000
Not wanting to pay the entry fee to Tidbinbilla I parked on the Corin Dam road and did this series of caches from this side even though it is a longer walk. This one took a lot of searching as my gps had me right in the midst of several rock piles. TFTC.
#22259 @1350After this morning's orienteering at the Pinnacle, I picked up my son and we headed to Tidbinbilla to grab these new caches. We went up the fire trail, and returned via the track. It took us two hours altogether. Another quick find here. TFTC.
I was present for the hiding of the cache and was given permission by the CO to claim the find on publication after it has been found. Now that the FTF has been claimed I am claiming it as found. Thanks to the CO for the placement of this cache.
A great day to be out at Tidbinbilla once the permafrost had thawed somewhat, and a nice ride up & down the hill. Cache found at GZ without issue. Thanks, GSC2000!
With the heavy fog this morning we unanimously agreed that we would head out for a fun warm 6km cycle in Tidbinbilla, and up to Gibraltar Peak, once/if the sun was shining bright. The fog lifted early afternoon and by 2pm the temperature was perfect for cycling and the beautiful views back over the mountains were enjoyed. Thank goodness for eBikes taking just 30minutes to reach Gibraltar Peak and from there we enjoyed the stunning clear views back over Canberra in the warm sunshine. All caches in this series were a quick find. TFTC GSC2000.
A nice bike ride with the team to pick up this series of caches and other nearby caches. TFTC
