M26: dot day today, after finishing up work nearby, I chose to walk here for the closest cache I could see that would be fairly easy to find. And it was easy to find. Log all good here. TFTC.
Love caches at these spots, this one was really full so had a search through for some holiday books and Mrs KC made the find here. TFTC
This was our last cache for the day and we parked right next to gz. The boys hadnt visited a recycled book library like this and were fascinated to check it out. A quick find here by the boys and we were the first to sign the new log. The book library was well stocked and the boys chose a couple of books to take home with them. Thanks SN for showing us this little book library
Heard that this one may have disappeared!Came here today with Miss 4 to check out the books ... and added a new Magnetic container.Hope it stays a bit longer!
It's always interesting what people make these swap a books out of. Upcycling in this case. The cache was found with great hints. Thanks.
So, I have just gotten a first to find on supernanny's new cache at the end of Sturges Rd, then thinking I had all the time in the world to come here on my e-bike and get this one, I went and did some maintenance on one of my caches on Coulter Rd THEN came here. It turned out to be a pleasant and warm day after-all. The forecast was for cold and wet weather, but nothing of the sort happened! Got to GZ, after initially riding right past it about 30m. Another fridge used for storing books, how cool, now I know what to to one of my fridges if it ever packs up. First thing I did was check out the books. Usually I never ever bother with the books, but on this occasion I did. I found a quite humorous book about road signs around the world, some you would almost never believe they exist. So popped that into my saddle bags on my e-bike and spotted another book that was quite lovely, but not for me, took a foto of that too. So after gleaning what was inside the fridge, I suppose I better glean what's outside the fridge, hence the cache was soon found, was I {FTF} here too?? Sure was... where is everyone??? I know it's Sunday, a rest day, but that should mean people are caching right? OK, I'll take the find as it is. Thanks supernanny for another hide, appreciate your work and a new location I haven't been to before. Now off to do some shopping at Pak n' Save then home. FTF#874
