This one has quite a funny story. But long story short all good now.

**22,247**Finally, we have found the time to start this series that we solved soon after publication. It was a long day (almost 8 hours) and with a fair number (10%) of DNF's or MIA's (They are to be confirmed by the owners at a later stage), but we guess that was to be expected four months down the track since placement. Lots of fun had, along with some frustration, so all in all a typical Geckoh caching day. Sorry for the cut and paste logs but we will try to brighten them up with a Dad joke or two!!How did the bison ask his crush on a date? He said, I herd youre amazing and Id love to take you out!

Catching the bison Part 3. A beautiful morning arose and my daughter and the geopooch set off to catch a few more Bison. Certainly a much easier job than just one person. We had a fun morning and managed to get around 20 today before someone had to work Sad almost completed the mighty bison. Been loving the drive down south of home. Might go again tomorrow SmileReally tricky this one.

DNF this elusive bison

No luck here. So many places to look, so much protective covering on the trunks and maybe only half a cache at best. After 5 minutes or so of looking I had to flag it as I still need to drive to Wellington and its already 1pm.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

Matagouri and I had planned one last attack on the bison roaming the area, with the intention of picking up all of the remaining caches left, including the 'eye' which Matagouri had targeted as his 5000th cache find. The weather forecast wasn't great, but we figured if we got an early enough start, we could potentially finish before the rain set in, which we succeeded in doing with only minutes to spare. Thanks for all of the effort you've put in, in making this great series. This one took a little bit of searching for, especially as my gps wouldn't get any closer than 15mts away, whereas matagouri was only a few mts off. But I followed him into the general area and was surprised to see the cache, but with only the bottom of the container and the log sticking out, - no lid! No one else has done it since it was replaced. Very odd!

Out on a gray morning with rattll, a final push to complete the Bison series, plus whatever else we can get our hands on! On these back roads, parking can be tricky, even in a little car. Fortunately, many of these caches did have parking reasonably close by, or at least a shoulder on the road. We managed a 100% find rate today, including DNFs from other expeditions, to finish the series off.The weekend is a good time to look for this one, I imagine that GZ would be busy other times. After a bit of a hunt, with GPS struggling a little, the cache was spotted, but once more missing the body of the container. A wee bit of a mystery, here. Maybe the hide location has been compromised? Log still all good, though. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!

It is time to move my snail shell from the big smoke to Rotten-rua so that I can corral the bisons ready to recieve my brand. If it wasn't for the cache's missing bottom half I wouldn't have found the cache with its two-tone colouring.Cheers for the cache, Reschedule & Kiwi Does Stuff.

Found on a short trip away with woolwood9.Our first day on the ***Bison Trail*** - we started around 4-00pm and stopped for the night just before 10-00pm.Only the top half of the Bison is left hanging in the tree, we searched around then found the logsheet a few metres away so placed into top of bison. Think someone was in too much of a hurry, dropped the log and bottom then couldn't find it, we had a good look but couldn't spot the bottom either. Most quick easy finds, but certainly a few very tricky hides and some took a lot of looking. SL *tm/ww NZ**Thanks for the fun puzzle cache series!*

TeamBOP planned a long overdue mission to Waikato, but plans suddenly changed overnight when this series was published. Thanks to one member who decided sleep can wait, we had the corrected coords of the complete series ready to go in the morning, so we hit the road early to try grab as many FTF's as we could. We were pleased to grab a [FTF] here.Tftc

Big GrinBig Grin {FTF} With / logged as Team BoPI was one date short of completing the Trad a Day / 365 Challenge (GCA73Q3). The 28th of June was my last gap on the calendar, and as luck would have it, fell on Matariki Friday. I had been planning a different mission with the Team, but this Bison Trail dropped conveniently overnight. Plans changed rapidly as we went into puzzling mode - One of our group worked like a machine and churned out solve after solve through the night... Our successes today are largely due to his efforts! We spotted an interesting rural supermarket (of sorts) set up on the way to this cache The hide had the potential to be problematic, but previous experiences with bisons in trees proved helpful. Thanks KDS. TFTP and TFTC.
