This morning we headed south from Carmila hoping that today we could find at least one cache in each of four LGAs. We did not stop for every cache along the way but looked for a cache about every 30km unless a particular cache had special interest to us. For some reason, the Rocky-Commute series caught our attention. We found one yesterday and hoped to find the remainder today.Accurate coordinates and the style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mackay_geocaching for the cache and the mini-series.

A nice straightforward find here today. Love rest stops with loos, avoids the scent and paper of the ones that dont. They are all good parking for caches though!Pulled up after dark last night at a busy rest stop half way between Mackay and Rockhampton. A good overnight stop as they often can be. We cached our way into and around Rockhampton. Highlight was a stone grill lunch, was good, but Wills entertainment of it all topped it! Earthcaches led to interesting locations as they do and cached out to Yeppoon where we set up camp. Must be school holidays as its a busy place. Although a bigger quite well set up town that i hadnt expected, a nice area. It was great to meet up with a caching friend of sacada's and spent a nice time with them. A Chinese drive through was a new type of drive through so had to give it a go. Food was okay too! Thanks for the cache!

wow A planned trip to Mackay for a caching weekend saw me leave a little earlier than expected. The plan was to cache a little on the way up, then cache Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a drive home either late Sunday avo or Monday morning.I met up with Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947 for the days of caching. Georode was to meet up on Saturday and Sunday for some kayaking. The drive up was good and we got to stop at a few caches along the way, these became our rest stops and toilet stops as well. We got into Mackay in time to grab a first to find as well. Sunday the rain came in and upset plans but we still got in most of our target cachesThe caches we found along the way were in good condition and we signed the logs and replaced as we found them Stops on the way up were in Gunalda, Childers, Rocky, and then Mackay. It was a long drive but worthwhile drive just the same and having a passenger does spur you along.

Bisoutje and I are on a roadtrip between Cairns and Adelaide with a campervan. On our way south there's a lot of kilometers between ourselves and our destination. It is crucial to take a break from driving every once in a while, and it is perhaps even more crucual that these breaks happen at places where there is a cache hidden Wink. This was a quick find.TFTC!

[FTF] We spotted this new cache on the map when we were heading north. We thought it would be found by the time we get back but wohoo a quick hunt in the bush and we claimed the bragging rights! *The generic bit for this trip*We are on now on our way south after heading north for warmer weather. From Cooktown back to Notth East Victoria, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
