Logs
This morning we headed south from Carmila hoping that today we could find at least one cache in each of four LGAs. We did not stop for every cache along the way but looked for a cache about every 30km unless a particular cache had special interest to us. For some reason, the Rocky-Commute series caught our attention. We found one yesterday and hoped to find the remainder today.Accurate coordinates and the style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mackay_geocaching for the cache and the mini-series.
Tftc, on our homeward journey we stopped here and made the find Thanks for the accessible caravan parking spot
TFTC mackay_geocaching your cache ROCKY-COMMUTE-005 that we found today. On the move from St Lawrence to Calliope. We stopped for the rest of the Rocky-Commute series. Nice easy parking for the motorhome with car in tow.Find Count: 20552

We are on the move again today with ilook4geo but picking up some caches along the way. This one was a nice easy find as we headed south along the highway. Thank you to mackay_geocaching for placing this cache.
There was no problem in finding this cache together with goingplaces2. Container was retrieved, log was signed and all was put back as found. Job done! TFTC.
wow A planned trip to Mackay for a caching weekend saw me leave a little earlier than expected. The plan was to cache a little on the way up, then cache Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a drive home either late Sunday avo or Monday morning.I met up with Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947 for the days of caching. Georode was to meet up on Saturday and Sunday for some kayaking. The drive up was good and we got to stop at a few caches along the way, these became our rest stops and toilet stops as well. We got into Mackay in time to grab a first to find as well. Sunday the rain came in and upset plans but we still got in most of our target cachesThe caches we found along the way were in good condition and we signed the logs and replaced as we found them Stops on the way up were in Gunalda, Childers, Rocky, and then Mackay. It was a long drive but worthwhile drive just the same and having a passenger does spur you along.
This was our next break in our journey since leaving Brisvegas very early as we make our way to Mackay for a few days of caching.Nice easy find, log signed, and off on our merry way.Thank you, mackay_geocaching, for placing this hide.
A traipse through the long grass, fighting off mosquitos to get this one. I hate to imagine what the mozzies are like in summer! *The generic bit for this trip*We are on now on our way south after heading north for warmer weather. From Cooktown back to Notth East Victoria, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
(*FTF *) We are driving from Rockhampton to Nebo today. Stopped here to stretch our legs. Ya, a nice, easy find here today. ??.. Tftc ??
