Well I clambered over the Rick's down to Gz And found nothing and as rime was going I left it and clambered back up but on the way I saw a green something between some rocks about 5m away I reached down and retrieved it it was the lig so I decided to take it with me and contact owner .. and again as I clambered back I saw the white plastic bottom between rocks which I then retrieved . So cache needs maintenance .
Quick easy find, although the plastic bag containing the log is way too big affecting how it's contained in the hide mechanism. Otherwise all OK here. TFTC
Quick find by MiniSwiss. Nice quiet afternoon for an easy find.Had a nice little workout on the gym equipment afterwards
I was in Palmy for a few reasons and added 'find a cache' to those reasons. I decided to head back to this bridge and find some around there. In the good weather there were a lot of people around so I went for a little stroll before heading down to find the cache after some research. It turned out to be an easy find if the most likely hide type which I found immediately after quickly trying another area. It's a cool out door gym here too!T F T C TAKMI.
Once seen, how could you miss it. However Antanna have been three times already. Today was their happy day!
Got it! Two trips. Log was surprisingly dry. Cache is not via able from the bridge. Thx!
Took a while to find.Other logs suggested that you could see the cache from the top, but we couldn't see it.Thanks.
Although we had an idea what we were looking for, and the coordinates were good, it took us quite a while to spot this cache. As a couple of geriatrics, we found the terrain a little underrated. Found with marhknz. TFTC
Headed up to PN with tmann421 to attend an Event and picked up a few caches while we were there. No problems here, nice quick find.Signed log tm/ww NZTFTC
*Nice find with woolwood9 today.* We soon had the container found and log signed.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the good cache.
Driving to Palmy to visit my Kiwi family, I needed to find a 'small' sized cache to help with qualification for a particular Challenge Cache. Having so few caches left to find in Palmy, I was glad to see that this one had been published recently and would suffice, assuming I could find it.Luckily there was no one around at the time of my visit (late evening) so I could have a good hunt around. In the end it was a quick find as the co-ords are accurate to within a couple of metres for me.All is good here, and I soon signed the log, replaced it back as found, and was back on my way to be social Thanks for setting up this cache.
Used a previous hint on one of the logs and spent a few minutes scanning from the top till I saw a familiar hide. A quick trip down and cache was soon found and signed on this windy afternoon Mihi ki a koe mo te keteroki #289
Not too many muggles today, but copious amounts of rubbish and discarded clothing along with unmentionables. Found this small pencil sitting on its lonesome, took a pic incase it came from the cache.
To be fair we didnt have a good look cos the muggle count was pretty high. However, what a fantastic set up with the cycleways, river and parklands.Cheers and thanks,S.t.
Left mrs c at the mall and headed here in the e hope that the steady rain would dissuade too many passing muggles, it did. Stood in the top and looked down then ignored the GPS as I sighted a potential option down below. A quick find of the assumed container and replaced as found after signing. All good here and welcome to another cacher placer in the region.August has usually been my lowest cache find month of the year since this month I aimed to improve that stat. With points available to arms the latest souvenir, and a rainy outlook, it was promising for attendance at the Palmy event, followed by one more find then some groceries.Happy International Geocaching day!
This striking bridge deserves a cache of its own, and as cyclists it is well used by us. All quiet here this morning apart from an occasional bike gliding by. After giving some thought as to where it might be it was soon found. Thanks TAKMI.
Tftc - weve run out of caches in our region, few hours spare so starting in Palmy now found by master 14 after a very short time frame.
In town and hadnt quite gotten to this cache yet due to the cooler weather. A bit of looking and once we got in the right elevation the cache was found soon enough! Thanks for this we hide!I wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. Thanks TAKMI for placing this Traditional cache! TAKMI , ! 3 August 2024 at 4:09PM#1th Find
#15,303. Second team to find. Park, walk and grab on the Te Araroa Trail in West End, Palmerston North. The GZ was fortunately all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*---### LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event. Yay!! Another cache in this popular area... Thanks TAKMI for placing this cache for all to enjoy.I was only a few blocks away when I saw the email notification of a new cache! And as I was already planning to go for a run in this area, trying for {FTF} was going to be quite possible... But when I got to GZ there were kids playing on the rocks while their parents used the gym equipment below, so I went away for a while and returned once all clear. However more muggles soon appeared and started using the equipment while I was under the bridge so I retreated again and hoped some non-muggles would come along to help search...Sure enough Team Geodatum soon arrived and the muggles were gone so we could have a good scan from above and scramble from below - After the spritely 92years young geodatum had felt around under almost every rock and Mrs G had twice suggested correctly what style of hide it was likely to be my eyes finally spied the hide, well camoed but in plain sight and in keeping with the hint and surroundings. YAY!! Joint FTF for us at approx 1340.TNLNSL, replaced as found, TFTC
Found at 1.40 pm - joint [FTF} with searchSteve. We were about to have lunch when we saw the notification for this new cache and thought someone was bound to have popped out in their lunch break for the FTF. After lunch nothing had appeared and so we set out. I thought it would be relatively quiet in the area on a weekday at this time and that proved to be true. I also thought if we did encounter another cacher it would likely be searchSteve, and so it was! He had done a little searching without success and so we compared ideas and set to searching in earnest. This cache was a bit tricky to locate but persistence paid off and searchSteve came up trumps. It was good searching together and to share the FTF. The hint was helpful. Congratulations on your first hide TAKMI and TFTC.
