Out and about enjoying the sunshine today. A little too hot for a hike, so we ventured to the islands. What a great choice! Lovely cache, thanks for taking me here 1MM.

A Saturday with minimal plans and a desire to get out and see a little bit of Australia. I reached out to oz_bean_counter who too was keen on a little bit of nature and adventure. I suggested a hike out west, but she reminded me of a potential heatwave, and so back to the map I went. Ah yes, a day on the day for some new geocaches sounds good! The easiest of plans followed and after the drive to the bayside, we embarked (knowingly) on the wrong ferry and enjoyed the ride around the islands, catching up on much since our last outing. On Karragarra, the plan was to visit all the geocaches as she'd not found them. But this was just one of two I needed. We passed by Fred's Shed (which is nowhere near Bill's Hill or Darryl's Barrel) and made sure to collect the answers. I made sure to double-check OBC's mathematics; she does have a reputation you know. But we'd finish our walk out and back before collecting the final. You're so right, the shed does photograph well. But so does so much of the island. Little bits of personality amongst the cared-for area set in the excellent views and cast on a perfect day on the water. I snapped many, and a bunch of times we paused just to stare into nature or check out a garden. On the way back, this was the last stop to collect the final. An easy find and the logbook was signed at 13:55. What a good way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday. Now just to get back on Terry. I mean, the ferry! Thanks for this geocache, 1MinnieMoo Smile

*FTF* First to Find at 13:35 hr.I arrived at the posted coordinates with my muggle parents, and then darted between the boat/jetty facility sheds until spotting the sign with the relevant clues. I ended up calculating all of the letters, but only noticed afterwards that **F** wasn't required anyway. From there, I deduced the coordinates for GZ noting only a few numbers were needed, and I had a brief search on my way to [Eric's Shed](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=72f488a4-6fa5-4ec2-b72a-15424dd35fe5&RefID=0dacc795-5347-4204-a306-2b2e04358462&RefDS=1), but I had no luck with my partial jet ski.Erics shed was less iconic than what I had imagined it to be, but still an interesting local relic. The final numbers were observed and obtained, and the figures were substituted into GZs equation accordingly, which was around where I had stopped before.I rode around the islands eastern side before backtracking to GZ, perhaps with a little arrogance that I thought it would be unlikely that another Geocacher would visit before my return. It then took me a while to search around for the cache, as I looked in nearby structures in various nooks and crannies, and I even made a pass where the cache was without spotting it. However, eventually, I discovered the well-hidden prize, and as to be expected by its first official visitor, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [1MinnieMoo](https://coord.info/PRDCNKE) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. I would certainly say that Karragarra Island is one of my favourite of the SMBIs!----------This morning, my parents arrived in Brisbane and were visiting from Adelaide. With no plans set for the day, I suggested a trip to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands (SMBI) by ferry. It just so happened to be a bonus opportunity to grab a couple of newly published geocaches at Karragarra Island. I had previously visited the islands on 18/07/2021 with [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), however, that was before an explosion of new geocaches that coincided with the [Celebrating 20 22 years of Geocaching: Karragarra](https://coord.info/GC8HK43) Community Celebration Event, that we were unable to attend.Consequently, we boarded the 12:20 hr ferry, and we visited Karragarra Island and Macleay Island (coincidentally, the only two islands that I had geocaches to find). I brought my E-bike to expedite my islands visits, whilst my parents explored the islands on foot. A terrific winter sunny day, albeit with a chilly wind to the air.

I had to do some work on my Adventure Lab on Karragarra. I knew 1MinnieMoo is quite fond of the island so we decided to visit.1MinnieMoo had met the daughter of the owner of the shed on a previous visit / stay and was keen to make a cache out of this little landmark.Karragarra is a very friendly little island. A few years ago, a kindly resident gave Pprime and I a lift as we were walking back to the ferry terminal. You will always get a wave or a chat from the locals.TFTC 1MinnieMoo for your little multi on beautiful Karragarra Smile
