A big thank-you to ilook4geo, who kindly moved the date of this Community Celebration Event to Monday 27/01/2025 so GCNSW could hold their welcoming event on Saturday evening. GCNSW appreciates your support for the Sydney GeoQuest and associated events over the weekend.
This planned event is moving to a new day and time to make room for a GeoQuest event on the Saturday night 25th January. It will now be on Monday 27th January. We hope you will still be able to come but will understand if you can't. Sorry for any inconvenience. Keep an eye out for the new one.
A pity, I'll be landing at 6.35pm in Sydney that day! Hope there will be other celebration event(s) during my stay in Australia...Enjoy, warm regards from France
I have offered to do a Cronulla Geocaching Tour in the morning 25th January 2025. Assuming that finishes in plenty of time so I will arrive by SideTracked train in plenty of time to share this Event.
As a SideTracked aficionado, I have to say yes, I'll be there ... BUT I may very well be setting up for the next day's Block Party at that time, so we'll have to see.
Now that will be a busy weekend. Being so close to the station I should be able to make it, for at least part of the time if not all.(Hope the trains are running that weekend, would be very ironic if it was a maintenance weekend and they were replaced by buses!)
