Logs
It's many years since I did any fishing but I hadn't forgotten how to tie a 'hook' so we arrived here prepared. I let Hazedarus do the honours here and the 'fish' was soon in his hands.Thank you andy.gail.
A spring day was forecast and the P&Gs had accumulated so a plan was hatched. With logs and comments by previous finders it had become clear what bait was the preferred option. So a medium line on a hand reel was successfully employed and the log signed.Good fun. A fav.Thank you andy.gail
Found a wet day with Ulmuslynx and Mike.We just needed the correct bait. It was a team effort. Thank you for the cache and the fun we had fishing
I came by several weeks ago, but soon realized that I had a ToTT, but it was not good enough. I returned today with my super-duper ToTT and had no trouble getting to the cache. It always amazes me how just the right thing is found and just the right cache placed. TFTC.
I hadn't planned on doing this one today so hadn't thought about how I'd get it but as luck would have it I had a bin full of caching bits and pieces for some maintenance I'd done recently. This is a change, instead of using a fishing pole, I'm now using a handline. My lure wasn't the best for catching the big one, but slow and gentle did the trick. Thanks andy.gail# 17330
Sussed things out on Friday while on our way over the hill to GB. Stopped off on our way back to NSN this morning with the right stuff and made the find. This is the third find I can recall making here. The corner that keeps on giving. Cheers and TFTC
I thought I had come prepared with what was needed to sign this one off. However, my initial supposition was wrong and I was sooo pleased I had replaced my caching supplies back in the car after taking them out while I was taxi-ing my brother and his family around this past weekend. Luckily I had everything I needed for a makeshift rod and it worked a treat. Loved it thanks andy.gail it was a lot of fun. # 22,387
Noticed this new cache pop up yesterday, but wasn't until today while I'm heading over to Port Tarakohe that I had the opportunity to drop by to take a look. I really enjoy fishing, obviously not as much as caching, but have an assortment of hobby things in my motorhome. Pulling into the safe parking area here, I quickly rigged up, and while the first cast looked good, it seems my choice of bait was not up to the task. Oh well, a quick rummage around and tried again with something a bit more chunky. Wahoo this time I was onto the prize catch which wasn't getting away, and with a big smile I revealed a nice clean log sheet for [FTF]. Definitely a FP for the fun cache here, cheers
