Logs
The puzzle took a while to get it. Then the search for the container awas nearly as bad. After PAF, soon had in hand . Stamped log and replaced. Good hide. Thanks to MaxI125
TFTC,That was hard for me to find, some distance from my GZ.LOOKED AT THE DECOY and moved on. Very clever, visited trackables and added a favourite.
Nice easy multi, with nice cache container at GZ. Cache not affected by the very recent fire at GZ. TFTC MaxI125
NSWRFS and NSWFR have completed the Hazard Reduction Burn in the areas of the cache/GZ. Thankfully, the RFS and NSWFR did NOT burn near the cache or GZ as it was too wet at the time and there was little vegetation.**We have replaced the final Cache container with the official logbook included and its original camouflage. THE FINAL CACHE CONTAINER HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED. HOWVER, YOU WILL FIND THAT THE CAMOUFLAGE HAS HAD A MODIFICATION TO HELP STOP THE CONTAINER FROM MOVING/FALLING OUT AS MUCH. ****THIS CACHE IS ENABLED AND READY TO GO AGAIN**MaxI125
Update:The Hazard Burn has been completed however, over the past 2 weeks a number of other and some bushfires have been started after the main fire was thought to be extinguished. This is due to weather conditions flaring up smouldering material and glowing embers starting spot fires around the Hazard Burn area and sites. The area also has not grown back very well and is still very much bare of all natural material and or growth/objects. **IT WILL BE A FEW MORE DAYS AND MAYBE A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THIS ONE IS ENABLED FOR SAFETY AND NATURAL CAMOUFLAGE REASONS**We would like to thank those who have been patient and understanding whilst this is ongoing. We would also like to apologise to those who have missed out on the opportunity to find this one, but it is unexpected.MaxI125
The Hazard Burn is completed . This cache will be replaced and enabled later this week.
This cache is currently going to be disabled due to the NSWRFS and NSWFR planning a Hazard Reduction Burn (HR) in Loftus. One stage is located in the area of which will be burned. We will retrieve the container and camouflage and return after the burn is completed. MaxI125
While out doing the Sutho train spotting we also completed and found this one. Straight forward with no bugs and coords are good.Down we went and steady as she goes followed by a search and a relocation which helped Mrs A find the cache. Signed and placed back in as required. TFTC MaxI125.
I think perhaps by the time I got to solving this cache some of the bugs had been ironed out- I didn't have any trouble working things out. This morning I was off to GZ and a quick walk from the car before spotting something, which I just need to look a bit harder on. Sure I've found a cache nearby here before. TFTC!
This cache has been disabled so we can make some changes, we did not do them prior to publication because of the amount of details that would have needed to be changed and how much publication details would have been added.MaxI125
We have resolved the issues we did not fix prior to publication. If you encounter any more, please contact the CO.MaxI125
Today is GeodogZelda's 9th birthday and she informed me she would love to get a FTF. Of course, that relied on a cache getting published. While out in the ES this morning, the notifications came through, many of them a long way away from home. I didn't notice this one until I got home. Despite a few ambiguities (bottles or glass items?), I finally had what was needed to get to GZ. Confirmation from the CO, and we were out the door as the school pick-up rush was in full force.Arriving close to GZ, it was only 20m away. Down a slope that was more T2 than T3.5, we were at 0m. Looking for a log, and nothing stood out, apart from heaps of rubbish, and fortunately no asbestos. Then I looked up the slope and spotted something about 10m away that might help. Upon lifting it up, there was a familiar cache container. But a micro, not a regular. Though the creative camo on top is. Well done on the construction. I might have to out source you to make some for me. We added our names (and GDZs paw stamp) to a fresh log. So GDZ does get a birthday [FTF] around @3:30 pm. That's quite a haul of Maxi's multis in the last couple of days. I guess you had some spare time in the recent school holidays. But it's back to the books now, Maxi! TFTC
