Quick easy find. Cache v exposed but perhaps someone didnt want to put it in best place due to ma-hoosive Huntsman! Eek! Cache replaced where found (not a spider fan either!). Tftc
Walked straight up to it, you could see it. Wazza9 retrieved it, and I stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to CO
TFTC,My goal today was to lift my finds for this date to 15 on my statistics page. With Adventure Lab stages now being counted into these statistics, this year is the last time I will work towards this. Also added 5 stages of an ALNana made a quick find standing on the correct side.Visited trackables.
Today, for our regular Sunday public transport caching adventures, we headed over to Randwick for a couple of Traditional caches with a stop-off along the way at Central Railway Station for a couple of Adventure Lab stages to earn the Adventure Day 2024 Souvenir. Caught a 280 bus to Chatswood and a T9 train to Central Railway Station, where we collected the two AL stages, then caught an L2 tram to Wansey Road Randwick for a Traditional cache. Then walked to UNSW for another Traditional cache and some lunch, after which we boarded a T3 tram on Anzac Parade back into the Sydney CBD. The return journey was via a T1 train from Wynyard to Artarmon, where we hopped off briefly for another Traditional cache, then back onto the train to Chatswood and finally a 280 bus back to home. This was the 4th of 5 finds for the day. After finding a cache in Kynaston Reserve we next walked along Botany Road to reach the UNSW for this cache close to the White House, which was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. We then enjoyed our pre-packed picnic lunch at one of the well equipped (power & USB outlets provided) tables & seats behind the Quadrangle, not too far away from GZ. I wasn't going to try for this cache today but I'd already had a bit of unexpected success so decided that being as I wasn't far away I'd give it a go.The caching gods were smiling and I found parking not too far away and so walked to GZ. I've never been in UNSW before, I went to a different uni, so the walk was interesting. The Alumni Lawn was deserted and with it being Sunday barely anyone was walking around. Like the last finder I used the previous log photos to speed up the search and soon found the well concealed cache container. Interesting tree, a cork tree I think.TFTC # 6268
Approaching this cache I worried that I would be too vertically challenged. However, not everything is hidden in the obvious places. Found with the help of a previous photo log. TFTC.
Found the exact tree and pretty sure the exact spot the cache should be, however nothing. Concluded that the cache was MOST LIKELY missing
Looked for a while but as we were about to leave I Persisted and found it. Great container. TFTC
Was at uni grounds after taking the kids to the unigym pool, geohusband spotted the cache. Very nice container. TFTC!
TFTC very good location, was hard to spot but very glad to say we found it and everything is in place. Thanks
Found it !!! Really good one , almost abandoned . Cheers from japan and France ??
Dear Nienie. Kinda sad to say good bye but at the same time I really hope you will be happy in your home. Be safe and take care well see each other soon in France I really hope P.S. dont miss your flight !! Wake up !! Lol Au revoir papillon
Went back to UNSW for some more higher education. Found the nicely camoed cache. OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC
Such a good hide, had to PAF and come back two days ina row and even then it took me a minute Also that container looks bomb proof
While out at Queens Park for GeodogZelda's 9th birthday, I had to get just one more before heading back to The Shire.Parking was hard to get, so it was a 500m "run" to GZ. On approach, I could see the hint tree, but it took me ages to find the sneaky hide. I pulled out, and poked at many items as I circumnavigated the tree several times. Resorting to PAF, as is the case, as soon as I did, I uncovered the natural camo and spied the prize. A very clever hide, located as some muggles relaxed on the Alumni Lawn nearby but not interested in my actions. A very pleasant place to rest.Hastily signed and replaced, then "sprinted" back to the car. It's time to head home before the school traffic starts. TFTC
Found this one on the way to do the weekly shop. A quick find with the hint which I was glad of as I didn't add to the university's funds by feeding the parking meter. Found several caches over the years in the university grounds however, I've never previously noticed The Ark. TFTC
Small pencil found on ground which was a clue that we were sniffing up the right tree. Popped the pencil back in the cache when we found it. TFTC
Was on my way into work when I noticed this new cache nearby. For a while, I thought I was barking up the wrong tree what with GPS bouncing all over the place. Top hide in a seriously nuke-proof container. Thanks for the opportunity for an FTF, CacheCats.
