Thanks rockstar for placing and maintaining this awesome series it was an awesome adventure. I came down last light and found half a dozen before getting attacked by mozzies and it was too dark to find much. Set up camp down a quiet dirt track. Attacked the letterbox series again finding 22 of this series and some around East Augusta. Including 1 FTF that Chillwer and Team Red Roo had left.
Hi there pood. We decided to head to Augusta a fortnight early and hopefully pick up some FTF, to no avail - Someone had been out earlier today and scooped the lot. PLEASE BE CAREFUL - I saw SNAKES (TIGER SNAKES) close to the first few LETTERBOX caches. While out on the road today we found this cache at 1107am after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to pood for this cache - our find 11129 and the 10th of 26 finds for the day.FieldNotes: The cache and Log are in good condition.
A great day out with family for fathers day and first day of spring. Such a wonderful wild wacky day touring the great Scott River district. Tftc
YAY FTFToday the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to head to the East Augusta as we had notice there were some new First To Finds had come out a few days ago. We kept an eye on them to make sure they were still not found before we set off early this morning. It was a nice easy drive down from Bunbury, except for those never ending road works. Most of the drive was in the dark so it was beautiful to see the sun rise as we neared our destination. There were a fair few kangaroos on the road so caution and good dodging skills were needed on several occasions . This area is beautiful at the best of times but certainly first thing in the morning its extra stunning . After collecting the first to finds we continued to pick off straggler caches back up the Bussel Hwy . All in all a great morning of geocaching . Thanks for placing these new caches and for giving us a great reason to come and explore this beautiful area Pood. We give you a favourite point for the series.
