What nicer way to spend Cup Day than taking a walk. Have not been along this section before and really enjoying area except to the bike traffic. Thanks QueenK8. Excellent hide here the natural way. Cache in good condition.
Enjoying the glorious spring weather, I went bike caching along the Mullum Mullum trail. There were surprisingly few muggles about which made for an easier time. A quick find with the excellent coordinates and hint. Great to see some different container types in this series. All in good dry condition. TFTC QueenK8
I decided to take full advantage of the lovely weather today and fit in a spot of caching. I spied these newish ones and decided to make the trek over to Ringwood. A spot on hint had this one in hand before I got muggled out. Thank you QueenK8 for placing and maintaining Ringwood Ramble - Bush Regeneration for us to find today.
It was finally a really nice warm day so we headed out on the scooters for a ride along this lovely trail. Surprisingly with such good weather the trail was not that busy which was good for us.A nice quick find here before scooting off....Thanks QueenK8 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Out with Pinnacle333, we were walking the geo-dog and chose this trail of caches. Quick find. Thanks QueenK8.
It was a lovely day to take a walk so I am visiting this cache with another cacher that hadn't found this yet although it is my second visit. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
GT 37 had been here before but she wasn't any help. She was more than happy to just stand back and watch me make the find. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.
Managed to get a pleasant stroll down this section of Mullum Mullum Creek trail in between rain showers . A very pretty section of the trail. Yet another calendar spot filled. TFTC QueenK8
Having been away for a few months, I was delighted to see that a new trail had popped up on one of my favorite walking paths. This cache was found after a short search.
Thanks QueenK8. This one took a little bit longer but not too difficult using the hint. Giddy up
Found with icw. I suspect the regeneration is happening on the opposite side of the track. I did some weeding up near the cache -- angled onion, ivy and blue periwinkle -- but removal of the weed infestation would take many days. Tftc.
It was a beautiful day today, perfect for geocaching. The Ringwood Ramble is an easy drive from home so I was hopeful of finding a few today and putting some smileys on the map. I enjoyed the walk along the Mullum Mullum creek trail. I appreciate a find like this .. within reach. Thanks QueenK8 for placing the cache.
and_me and I decided to have another look. This time she had the cache in hand before I even reached the GZ. TFTC.
I am on a very pleasant bike ride on a beautiful near spring morning finding caches. Thanks QueenK8 for giving me the reason.
What a great little hide . Did need to use the hint but still a little tricky . Great hide TFTC
A little cold to be out this morning but blue skies. A few muggles to be aware of but these did not prove to be a issue. I circled the final coordinates without sighting anything and it wasn't until I repeated the walk around looking more carefully that I spotted it. Thanks to QueenK8 for the cache.
*Found on the 4 Aug 2024 @ 2:31PM.**Cache find # 15706.* Today I headed over this way to tackle a few of the new Ringwood Ramble series of caches.I continued with the ramble, clocking up a few kilometres on my bike with turned out to be good therapy for my injury, there were still a few more to find in this series, didnt find them all so I will have to return another day but this one I did find before signing the log and moving on to the next one.**Thanks to QueenK8 for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Omegaman1971??Support Your Local Villain????Live - Laugh - Lurk??First to Find: 183Sidetracked Cache Finds: 134I'm chasing a few caches before heading to an event to celebrate mine and QueenK8's birthday. I have walked this trail many times over the years to find a cache.Cheers for the cache!
Caches found: 24DNFs: 0Distance Rambled: 18.8 km**Apologies in advance for this generic log on the Rambling series caches**As a budding FTF hound I watched in angst as this new series launched. Work, travel and life commitments prevented me hunting these down. I have been waiting for a break in the madness and decided to cancel all my Friday afternoon meetings to set out on a geo-adventure. I contemplated whether to bike or foot the series. I decided on the ramble and set out by foot from home around 2pm and arrived back 7hrs later. I hadn't had time for lunch so grabbed a Grill'd burger on the way to the first cache. A few work calls on the way from the burger and then I was able to collect the solved puzzle near Douglas Maggs Reserve. Everything went smoothly on the trail despite a hiccup at the 'Bridges and Totem' multi-cache. My co-ordinates were slightly out but the hint helped narrow down GZ and after some searching the cache was found. Through the Mullum pedestrian tunnel and it was now getting quite dark so I decided on grabbing GJMMelb's nightcache. I had a lot of trouble here with the reflectors so it wasn't until 40min later that I was able to continue the journey. Over to Ringwood Lake and the first cache near the entrance. I started the adventure lab but decided that it was too dark to enjoy and skipped this for another time. Through to Ringwood East and then gathered another multi-cache on Freeman Street, then on to Linear Park, collecting clues for the final. Now for the trudge home. Airpods in and music blazing I completely forgot to gather the solved puzzle at Burnt Creek. Will have to return for this one. What a fantastic way to end my week. Happy birthday QueenK8 and thank you so much for the series. I'm sorry I couldn't come to your birthday Geo-event in Bayswater today, but I was too busy finding your caches!
In the area prior to the Birthday celebrations so I had time to find the rest of the Ringwood Ramble caches. It was good not to have to drive miles for once to get a few caches. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks QueenK8 for the cache.
We figured it was about time we did some of these new local caches. With the sun out and the wind non-existent, today was the perfect opportunity.A quick find here by GT37. Signed and replaced just as a muggle came past with a doggle, but paid us no attention. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, QueenK8 ??~????????~
Such a perfect day for a Ringwood Ramble....blue sky, sunshine and good company. Crusty and I were enjoying walking along this track...a lovely stretch of green with a a nice flat relaxing path to travel whilst chatting our heads off. Thanks for this series QueenK
Today I went out for another cache hunt with Redcb, and geodog, Pilot. We always have a good time, and this series provided us with a pleasant walk, and interesting caches. Thanks for placing these caches, QueenK8, to keep us entertained, and keep our hobby alive.
I found this cache on my Mega Walk #29 - a 25,000 step walk through Heathmont, Burnt Bridge and Ringwood. This took a bit of spotting, even with the hint. This was our 240th 4TF and our 2nd cache find in almost this exact spot. Thanks from D B-A
At last the sun is out so I'm off for a walk to get my Vitamin D dose. I thought this was a very clever hide Gets a favourite from me. TFTC
Find number 13539 at 12:17:11PM on Tuesday the 30 July 2024I wasn't necessarily intending to do these today but it is such a beautiful day, how could I not go for a walk along this magnificent Mullum-Mullum Creek Trail. Plus, the possibility of an FTF is always attractive A quick find and whilst standing beside the hide, it's amazing how many muggles will walk right by and not even notice you if you stand still and keep your moth shut **Thanks for placing this cache QueenK8**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Log your will attend for [**SideTracked Day 2024**](https://coord.info/GCAPPGF) on 10 August 2024 at the Miniature Railway Park in Eltham. The Great Victorian Cache Crawl is coming on 17-18 August 2024, this year starting near Melbourne heading up around Echuca and back over the weekend.
