Dropped eldest novo off at a safe drivers course in the CBD this morning. Youngest geokid and I then took off for three hours to climb some trees. We'd just come from a Treegeek cache nearby and thought we'd make our way over here on the way back to the car. Nice little hide. This puzzle is quite unique, utilising a technique I'd never seen nor heard of before. It never ceases to amaze me how well coordinates can be hidden in a puzzle cache! Not sure if there's a tool for the last step or not - we carefully solved it manually which, while tedious, was satisfying as it began to unfold. TFTC and very cool puzz, lee737. Have another FP you guys.#2049
After a little bit of initial head-scratching, I soon cottoned on to what was needed for this puzzle and got the thumbs up from the checker. Who'd have thought someone would do that! Now finally I've been able to head up north to attempt the find but wondered if I'd blown my chances when I realised in the middle of a bright sunny day that it had the "recommended at night" attribute. Unperturbed, though, I began exploring likely dark places in the vicinity and found the cache by touch. Yay!Many thanks for the enjoyable puzzle and hide.
Words arent enough to express !TFTC!What a fabulous idea for a puzzle +Favourite+This made for a lovely midnight find >>[FTF]<
