Yes!! Mrs B is claiming all the credit in this one. Back for another look with some determination and after 5 mins MrB was ready to leave until Mrs B suddenly yells Yes!! Very clever indeed!! Glad to have the smiley. Agree with previous finder that the camo needs a touch up. TFTC

Was on a quick overnight trip to Rotorua and had a chance to find a few caches and a few DNF's lol. Had 2 goes at this one, had us stumped. We must be too rusty on our cache finding skills. Will try again another trip.

WOW, very happy with this find. TFTC

14-Oct-24
Had a really good search around, even with some clues from PAFs we unfortunately still had no luck here today.

13-Oct-24
Spent a lot of time looking at lots of trees. Clue & co-ords didn't seem to line up. Tried PAF but still no luck.

A little belated on logging this hide, after being out of the country for some time weve decided to come back and revisit this latest series, the updated hint made for a very quick starting point and seeing a lack of greenery down the tree made this hide very quick to retrieve, may pay to re-camo the top of this hide! TFTC Noddyman!

Yes. The tree is very undressed and the hide may need maintenance

Took another look on the way back and found it. Sneaky . Delete last write note

13-Sep-24
After having no luck initially finding this cache, I noticed an updated hint pinpointing which tree to search. Funny enough that tree was outside of the initial area we had searched based on the coordinates. Armed with a bit of additional information, I finally made the find yesterday afternoon, unfortunately I had nothing to attempt to remove the log and my attempts with a stick only sent it further in. So I returned today armed with an appropriate retrieval tool to finally get my name on this log.

**22,140**We were in the area today, doing a bit of maintenance and preparing another couple of caches and thought we had better stop by and finish this series. Now that the hint had been updated at least we knew we were in the right area but it still took a while to locate the sneaky hide. TFTC

Well this was not a good start and I spent far too much long here and even had help from a previous finder. Finally I moved on but after finding the last one I thought one more go before home. Luckily school had finished and Squirrel Nutcase came to give me a hand. Coords were well out for me too but the hint is correct. I had had difficulty wondering which tree and this was because all the leaves have been stripped off the tree. Even then Hemi took a while to spot the sneaky hide, it blended in so well and firmly lodged. Glad to have this one TFTC

This was my mission today to do this series of caches. Went with the hint and circle around for a while. Then started to doubt I was in the right place. Started to look elsewhere. Then notice I had company. A familiar face had turn up. They confirmed I was in the right place to start with. When the hide was revealed I was like dam I would of been here for hours. Possibly many more visits. It is worthy of its high difficulty rating. Could even be as high as a 5. Be interesting to see future logs of others trying to find it. Good luck to you all. Thanks for the rescue Davidson Clan. Tftc.

Danni found it straight away Good hide though

Big GrinBig Grin {FTF} With Davidson Clan It was a great day for laundry. I was up at the crack of dawn and hanging washing, but some dark clouds on the horizon needed watching. I was intent on doing my job or run the risk of having no work clothes. Only one thing might cause me to look left or rightDC messaged after lunch to say he was on site, and would I like to join him Umm - Washing Is the Pope Catholic? This hide had also had an update, so we might stand a chance of actually finding this nemesis hide today. It has only consumed a few hours of my time since it was published!Right away, we were met with the familiar rows of trees. Extending outwards and focusing on a different row, we settled on a narrowed area - About 13 metres from the listed coords. Even after several circles, this was a challenging bugger, but one very small detail jumped out. Wow! This hide will not be found by the average Joe Hides like this need super accurate coords! Were so glad to knock this one off, but what now? Thanks noddyman. TFTC.

(FTF)at 130pm meet up with Squirrel Nutcase took us a while to find we were looking in row two on our previous DNF but our cords had us further down row two so thanks for updating the hint still took us several rounds of the tree to make the find of this cleverly camouflaged cache.

11-Aug-24
Congrats FTF Davidson123Clan on a tricky find.

10-Aug-24
Added a little embellishment to make it easier to find Smile

05-Aug-24
Even with a lot of beady eyes looking, this cache was too good for us here tonight. Unfortunately we had had our confidence boosted by locating #7 (with the overseeing eye of the CO)but our confidence evaporated rather quickly on arriving at GZ!

04-Aug-24
No luck here today, a brighter look with daylight, will take another look next time Im in the area

03-Aug-24
Unfortunately another DNF for us here. The only thing that looked out of place was me and my phone. Joys of trying to get gps to settle in the forest. Will try again another time.

02-Aug-24

02-Aug-24
