Megawat60 and I sadly missed IGD24 due to his knee upgrade. So now, making up for it with a few days in Toodyay. Plans for Day 2, starting on the Clackline Road for the puzzles we managed to solve then back in town. We chose this special spot for megawat60s 10,000th find!So thanks B12 and a FP!

Out n about with m4yb grabbing some caches. Second day of our 2Jay getaway and another nice day for the hunt. Oh and this one tripped me over the 10K number!Thanks for the hide & Barnzy12

An overcast spring day, so I thought I should be outside caching before summer hits and it gets to hot .Collecting a few smilies along the way . Happy to come up trumps here. Some logs signed as N20 This is my 14261 find Thankyou Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining this cache for others to find .

Tricky. Found

Found by Mary and David at 11:10. A thoughtful cache for us. M's Dad was a POW in Changi and Kranji, while Ds Dad was a Rat of Tobruk and also fought in New Guinea. We were both in the RAAF, and our daughter and son-in-law are continuing with the RAAF tradition. We were initially in two minds whether to use the details from the obelisk, the separate panel, or both. We'll sort that later but, for now, the hint took us straight to the cache. Our thanks to Barnzy12.

Found it. TFTC Barnzy12. Happy to make a find here. Returning to Toodyay to try to clear the green dots. Got the required information from the plaque. Replaced as found.

Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Now staying a few days in Hoddyswell with Iluvtrekking. We headed out towards Hoddywell falls first up. We only got to 300mts from the parking point before abandoning the car. 2 1/2 hrs later back at the car with 4 smilies. Saw lots of wildflowers on the enjoyable walk. Then we headed off to town to grab a couple more caches. TFTC Barnzy12

Hey Marje...the rains are here... Timing was not ideal but the showers appeared as I was approaching this one. I had done the homework before leaving Brisbane, so had the final coords on hand and I spotted the container as I zeroed in. I double timed it to GZ, swiftly added my name to the log, returned the container as found and raced for cover back in the car. Phew... A nice spot and I am really enjoying this town. I will need to come back for the many other multis and puzzles surrounding the town.Cheers Barnzy12.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to enjoy team jasenjanine. Out with team adinache for the day finding the last few in Toodyay before we leave. Attended the Cito in the morning then a nice walk along the river. Thanks to all the cache owners for organising such a fantastic weekend. Once we found the right sign it made sense and we soon had some numbers that worked

Back into Toodyay today for a 2nd day of IGD fun, great event last night with a bunch of other like minded individuals, travelling in with Kyzabra and meeting up with Granett, today's caching plan was to hit up the challenge series and anything else we could fit in between the events and tonight's drive home. Its IGD weekend again this year we are at Toodyay. A pretty hectic time at the moment so was only able to get up here for the day. Left home early and picked up Allied Oz on the way before meeting up with Granett in town. we had a rough plan of what we wanted to do during the day but as per usual plans will change.This was one of many we picked off during the travels today. A good mix of traditional Multis, puzzles and challenges as well, obviously the many labs around town.Many thanks to Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining Their Sacrifice - Toodyay. Today is International Geocaching Day and we are up in TOODJAY at the event put on by West Oz Geocaching Committee to mark this special day and weekend . The geocaching plan today for Taurus Six and I was : Firstly, to collect all the puzzle caches just out of town on the Goomalling- TOODJAY Road, we had solved all puzzles earlier the last few with a little help from CO . Secondly, we need to collect a couple of caches from the two LGAs east and north of TOODJAY to qualify for the challenge cache we accomplished this. For Goomalling as part of the GG series then we hit the back roads to Victoria Plains and collected a few in Bolgart; thirdly , we are collecting all the challenges caches also just out of town, especially now that we have the correct LGAs - we had the pleasure of undertaking many of these caches with PP2; fourthly , we are collecting the multi caches that just came out yesterday having solved them last night and this morning here again we had the pleasure of caching with PP2 ; fifthly , we are collecting all the Adventure Labs around town and sixthly; we will collect any other geocaches that we come across for the day. The weather is looking inclement so we best get as many early as possible because it looks like it could be stormy . All in all a fabulous day of geocaching in this glorious part of WA . Thanks to the organisers and all the geocachers who have placed caches especially for this weekend .

Great multi, thank you Barnzy12!Took a day off work today to make the most of the IGD weekend - so many new caches to find around Toodyay! Stopped for the RTIGD24 series along the way, as well as for some challenges around Gidgigannup and several caches at Noble Falls. Met ullyssia along the way and continued caching together around town until the Sundowner. Beautiful weather and a very successful day ??.

Working together with a large group of cachers and while most of us were working through the plaque to get the required numbers geotrakka used some intuition to claim the find. Day 1 of the IGD weekend got off to a great start, as I was able to finish the workday a little early and join SirFancy for the drive out to Toodyay.Along the way, we stopped at Gidgegannup and Noble Falls, collecting adventure labs and caches as we went. After settling into our accommodations, we headed into town, bumping into a multitude of other teams as we focused on non-traditional caches.The evening was spent enjoying conversation and a good meal at the sundowner event before wandering around town to gather the information needed to begin the abundance of new multi-caches in the area.It was a fantastic start to what promises to be a weekend full of caching. Today I managed to collect 17 finds, attend one event, and end with zero DNFs. Thanks go to Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining the Multi-Cache cache Their Sacrifice - Toodyay for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 16:43 on 16/8/2024.This is find number 9166 for me.

Thank you! Day 1 of the IGD weekend in Toodyay. Got away a little later than planned, but then got on a roll finding caches on the way. Eventually caught up with papillon367 and enjoyed finding a variety of caches together. Happy to make the find here.

Feeling inadequate not having been to Toodyay for a very long time. Trying yo restore my overachiever status with half a day out. Slept in and waited for two deliveries before heading off at 11am. Traffic was horrendous on the way back and it took almost two hours from the challenge series to home. Weather was glorious sunshine while caching but it did start to rain in patches on the way back. Ive checked the weekend forecast and its looking wet wet wet. Thanks for this hide.

After doing the calculations it was a quick find

Out and about again, headed out to Toodyay to do a pre-IGD cleanup with Lachlan1.77. We saw a few FTFs appear on the map and some which had been there a few days already. The plan was to grab FTFs first then work from there which took us from Toodyay to Northam and back.Had to get coords for the multi then head to GZ and found a blank log book which equals a joint [FTF] for me.This cache finder number 15939 for me.Thanks to Barnzy12 for the caches I have found

Spontaneous day off work to head out to Toodyay and clean up some caches ahead of the upcoming IGD event. Joint *FTF* with Leg5 at 8:23am. Couldnt get the coordinates to check out, but with a pretty decent hint we were able to gypsy it. Cheers Barnzy12!
