T-Tech wanted to take a walk to grab a Challenge cache he qualified for, for another Challenge cache he would then be able to qualify for, both of which I have already completed. He asked for my company, so of course I added a few extras to the adventure so I would get some smileys as well We made use of the parking at the nearby fuel stop, then walked back to this bush area. Very easy access made for a pleasant walk around the pond. The cache was readily located, and the best word to describe it is Babushka! It made me grin, and the log container was darn cute! TFTC, Fangsoki.[IolantheK](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=IolantheK) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAW32M/90960 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did."7 unique years and 7 unique sizes hidden before 31 December, 2006." 2000-11-11 - Regular - GCAF Mount Cargill (Dunedin, Otago) - Traditional Cache2001-04-17 - Other - GC7E7 Deer Flat (Milford, Southland) - Unknown Cache2002-09-23 - Large - GC9266 Going West - Traditional Cache2003-09-14 - Virtual - GCGWVM Tripod Lookout - Virtual Cache2004-03-14 - Micro - GCHXGM University Challenge 4 (In Out In Out) - Traditional Cache2005-09-18 - Not chosen - GCQ64K Oxley - Johnson - Unknown Cache2006-01-03 - Small - GCRVZ6 Rock On - Keperra - Traditional CacheQualifying 7 / 7, PASSED

Made the trek from parking coords to GZ where the cache was quickly located. Quite nifty. The water is looking great with Lily pads and reeds at this time of year. TFTC.

This morning, I headed to the Deagon area to target a couple of new challenges on offer. An interesting hidden area, and it was easier than I had anticipated to get to GZ (perhaps having visited the nearby bushland hidden reserve that had no formal tracks about it). At GZ, the cache didn't take long to find, and then it was a case of a Russian dolls exercise, with its containers sized to the challenge! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Favourite Point! Thanks [Fangsoki](https://coord.info/PR3MMTD) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.According to [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAW32M/90960 "Project-GC Challenge Checker"), I qualified for this challenge. Turns out, size does matter. Enlarged organs are typically a result of underlying health issues that shouldnt be ignored. For example:- Enlarged Brain:- swelling is serious and does not result in a bigger IQ. Medical attention should be sought immediately.- Enlarged Heart is a sign of muscle damage and is not the opposite of a broken heart. A trip to the Doc is advised if you exhibit signs like unanticipated shortness of breath.- Enlarged Spleen:- Located under the left rib cage, swelling is typically found after an examination, as it does not typically cause any symptoms.- Enlarged Prostate:- a bitch of a problem for the over 40s as a result of male hormones, growth factors and other cell signaling pathways.I also qualify for this challenge, thanks Fang for a challenge to boast about that doesn't need medical intervention or reassurance from your partner. TeamARF has used Project-GC Challenge Checker to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.7 unique years and sizes hidden before 31 December 2006 - Qualifying 7 / 7, PASSED2000-05-26 - Regular - GC46 Geocache by Kevin Anderson (Wellington) - (Traditional Cache)2001-11-16 - Micro - GC287A To Market, To Market - (Traditional Cache)2002-12-05 - Large - GCB298 Alex the Sea Lion - (Traditional Cache)2003-09-06 - Other - GCGVKN "Nutters Knoll" - (Traditional Cache)2004-10-08 - Small - GCKR9J Combination Charlie - (Traditional Cache)2005-06-20 - Virtual - GCP9XQ 1807 - An Original Virtual - (Virtual Cache)2006-11-15 - Not chosen - GCZCPK Franciscan Complex - Alcatraz Terrane - (Earthcache)

After knocking over the CO's recently published caches near Boondall North Station, I stopped at a nearby servo to grab a cold drink and pondered my next moves. These two challenge caches seemed interesting - their location especially so. Found the trailhead and then made my way to the cache. It is surprising how much wildlife there is around this stormwater detention basin. Another nice ammo tin, what a treat. [Crookedpete](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Crookedpete) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAW32M/90960 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.My qualifying list of finds for "7 unique years and sizes hidden before 31 December, 2006" is as follows: 2000-11-12 - Regular - GCB2 Botanical Gardens (Dunedin, Otago) - (Traditional Cache)2001-09-23 - Small - GC1E7F Allan Ostock B - (Multi-cache)2002-03-09 - Large - GC4080 The Wombat Forest Stash - (Multi-cache)2003-08-17 - Not chosen - GCGNKM Kidspace - (Traditional Cache)2004-08-08 - Virtual - GCK7HH Royal Observatory Greenwich Cache - (Virtual Cache)2005-11-26 - Micro - GCRFCG Raven's Loft - (Traditional Cache)2006-09-27 - Other - GCYHW9 King George's Field - (Traditional Cache)Qualifying 7 / 7, PASSEDMany thanks FangsokiPete#8,018

I was running out of energy after spending the last few hours tramping through bush and tripping over vines and was looking forward to a rest until Pprime (P') parked close to here and informed me that I had some more walking to do. Reluctantly, I poured myself out of the car and followed Pprime)P'), Fangsoki and Captain Terror towards this cache.I will admit that the terrain and vegetation (or lack of) was a pleasant relief and it wasn't long before we arrived at the cache and then Captain Terror searched through the contents to locate the log.I had no doubt that I would qualify for the challenge criteria and Project-GC provided me with this list (which I think is pretty impressive as they are all in the first 7 years of caching)"7 unique years and sizes hidden before 31 December, 2006."2000-08-27 - Regular - GC3B Potters Pond - (Traditional Cache)2001-05-20 - Large - GC9CB Forte's Ground - (Traditional Cache)2002-04-28 - Small - GC5210 Poogie Yes! Out for a few hours with nikid1 so we have to make the most of our limited time to find caches for the cosmic quest. Nikid1 had already found this one so knew exactly how to get into this lovely little area that I often drive past but didnt realise you could walk into. Love the container, so cute & very fitting!Still some work for me to do as only have 5 sizes so far.TFTC Fangsoki

I planned a day trip from Toowoomba to find a few selected caches only and go to an event. Big GrinA couple of the caches filled in D/T grid spots, others were because I completed the challenge cache criteria, or a unique cache like this one. CoolI parked the car a block or two away and made a casual walk over to GZ. SmileI arrived here at about 8am and no one was around. SmileQuickly spotted, signed the log book and returned the cache quick smart. Big GrinThanks for the cache.

Over from NZ visiting and doing as much caching as other commitments allow. After attending a CITO on the northside this morning, decided to spend the rest of the day finding caches on my list that were in the area.I had seen this one when it was first published and briefly had thoughts of trying for a FTF, but a one hour drive in the dark and rain meant I was unlikely to beat the locals, so the idea was canned. So congratulations to fellow Kiwi, YetiNZ for going out in the grotty weather and getting a joint FTF.Today, it was nice weather and after parking at the recommended spot, made my way to GZ. Certainly easier doing this one in the daylight I think and hence cache was a nice quick find. Signed log and replaced as found and also picked up the TB to move along. TFTC

GCAW32M Proves to be a Sizeable ChallengeMy favourite type of cache is a challenge cache. Gives me something to work towards. Although in this case it turns out I already qualify. Im glad this cache is still up and running. Too many Karens in this world (sorry nice Karens). Today Im off work on a carers day. So while Im waiting for hubby to get out of day surgery I decided to go find this. Its a great little spot. Lots of birds about. Loved the container. Exactly right fit for this challenge. Grabbed one of the TBs as I thought it was Santa (I love all things Christmas) turns out it a judge in a red robe, oh well Ill take him anyway. TFTC Fangsoki its perfect.

Muggle65 and l took a short stroll out to GZ and signed the log in this nicely sized cache today. Thank you Fang for a challenge many can find ??

My husband and i decided to take a bike ride to the fruit shop on Sandgate road and i said there is a cache near there that i really want to find. I read the description and headed off to the trail head where I saw in the distance some people. Now what would they be doing there if not looking for a geocache. Sure enough it was Brislions, Muggle65 and GreenGecko1. By the time I got there they had found the cache and we all admired the way it was put together. It was great to see them again . Happy also to say I qualify . Seeing this cache published the other night, we were pleased to see an international cache share in the First to find spoils. Pity some cacher doesnt feel like discussing any concerns directly, which ended up being a storm in a thimble. Thanks Fangsoki for yet another great challenge cacher.

Well I did contemplate running for this when it came out, but after having done it, happy I stayed home in my warm, dry bed.Out today with Barb and parked at recommended parking spot. Made our way to the trail head and thought, ok, this way or that way. We took "that" way and started getting closer. Almost zero and it was time for the small detour up to the cache. Quickly located and started our search for the log.Names in the book. Barb grabbed some TB's to take to Sydney next week.Back the way we came in, but decided to check the "this" way route. Hmm, could possibly have been the better way. Bit of CITO on the way out. Barb now has enough for a bus trip ??That was an enjoyable adventure. I have well over 200 FP's as I don't normally just hand them out, but this cache was so enjoyable I have to give one here.TFTC"7 unique years and sizes hidden before 31 December, 2006."2000-10-17 - Other - GC8E Queens land - (Traditional Cache)2001-01-06 - Regular - GC131 Bravo Hotel - (Traditional Cache)2002-07-26 - Large - GC75F8 A walk in the park - (Multi-cache)2003-08-17 - Not chosen - GCGNKM Kidspace - (Traditional Cache)2004-04-11 - Virtual - GCJ5E5 Plinth - (Virtual Cache)2005-02-28 - Micro - GCMYWY Well I'll be "Dam"ed - (Traditional Cache)2006-06-03 - Small - GCWD4T Wuzzle Puzzle - (Traditional Cache)Qualifying 7 / 7, PASSED

Needing a cache to keep my little streak ticking along this sounded like a fun and easy one to achieve, well so I thought.I parked up at the substation and walked across with the lights. Then it was a little pathway around to a nice old style cache, awesome.I opened the cache to find a large number of trackables and another container that housed the log, Funny. I did get a smile at the quirky caches, thank you. I signed the log, retrieved one TB and recorded the rest. I replaced everything as found and started my way back to the car. A very pleasant cache in a nicely found area. A favourite point for this cache. Sorry but I've been contacted by a concerned cacher that has pointed out that this cache should not have been published due to [10. Source of Criteria](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=206#criteria) guideline of the challenge caches.>Restricting finds to caches published prior to a particular date.I'll seek some clarity and revert.

Enabling cache. I found the detail much quicker than expected, sorry for the concern. The intent of the guideline is to stop cache owners from saying things like "Caches published after this challenge was published are not allowed to be counted towards this challenge" restricting to caches hidden 10+ years ago and the like is acceptable.Cache on!

#4298 [FTF] with Nyssaflutterby and YetiNZSaw a new challenge cache was published, and made the assumption that I would not qualify, and subsequently ignored the notification. Soon after, I received a text message from Nyssa, who indeed confirmed that I do in fact qualify should I wish to join the hunt. Knowing how competitive the FTF scene is, I left the house immediately. This perhaps, was a very foolish decision as I was in thongs and no rain jacket. Which did prove to add to the challenge. Quick drive and park, and a 'perilous' (I already nearly fell over) walk to the trailhead, where initially, we began with a bush bash. A quick peek on satellite view showed that we were indeed mistaken. Once we went to the trail, we were soon then at GZ, and were soon joined by YetiNZ, congrats on your first FTF outside of NZ. Fairly soon we had the cache in hand. Thanks for the fun! A joint [FTF] with Nyssaflutterby and injuryman, @ ... I think it was a little after midnight, New Zealand time, not sure what time it was here. I arrived in Brisbane, from New Zealand, at about 18:30 local time. Then, having collected a car and found where I was staying for the next two weeks (it was tougher to find than some geocaches, about a D2.0) I was ready to call it a day, when I saw a new geocache publication appear. Now, as I have no real concept yet of how long it takes to get places here, I just looked at the straight line distance and it seemed close... so off I went. It definitely took longer than I expected. I arrived at the parking coordinates and set off in the rain to the trailhead marker. At that point, in the dark, and the rain, I was a little concerned I might have to wade through crocodile infested swamp water - but no, a little further investigation revealed a disused path that seemed to be going where I wanted. Then, as I approached the final location I heard the tell-tale sound of other Geocachers coming from the bushes. Introductions were made (naturally I promptly forgot names) and the nice big container was opened, and then the smaller one, and the smaller one, and the smallest one, and the log book signed.I also dumped a bunch of trackables I picked up in NZ at an event last week, hopefully they will enjoy some travels over here.[YetiNZ](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=YetiNZ) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAW32M/90960 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did."7 unique years and sizes hidden before 31 December, 2006."2000-11-12 - Small - GCB1 Unity Park (Dunedin, Otago) - (Traditional Cache)2001-01-06 - Other - GC137 T-2 (Manawatu) - (Traditional Cache)2002-03-16 - Not chosen - GC42D3 reservoir dogs (Auckland) - (Traditional Cache)2003-04-13 - Micro - GCF7A4 Harbourside - (Traditional Cache)2004-02-09 - Virtual - GCHNBF The heart of munich - (Webcam Cache)2005-12-26 - Large - GCRTC5 Three Volcanoes (Volcanic Plateau) - (Traditional Cache)2006-11-11 - Regular - GCZA65 Mischka's Walk (Wellington) - (Traditional Cache)Qualifying 7 / 7, PASSED---Thanks to Fangsoki for placing and maintaining this cache. I received notification of this new born cache and had a quick look. Yep, I qualify. Hmm, only 5km from home, but its pouring rain. Haha! Whats a bit of rain? A quick text to Injuryman to see what he was up to. He was keen so we decided to meet at the parking coords. Thankfully arriving at our destination the rain had eased up a little, it was now just a dull sprinkle. Torch and pen in hand. Lets go! Made it to the trailhead and being dark we were a little lost. Started heading into the weeds ?? Well thats not going to work. Out with the satellite map and we could see the well formed track that we should have taken if we had have gone just a few metres more. Palm to forehead moment ?? Happy to not be swimming across the swamp as well.Arriving at GZ we shuffled around the hill for a bit when we were joined by YetiNZ, who had just arrived from over the ditch today. Nice to meet you! We discovered the nice sized container and on opening the cache I was reminded of an oldie archive cache from the Sunny Coast, matryoshka. That was a bit of fun! We were also happy to note a blankish log and that we had not become soaking wet for nothing and could claim the **FTF**.With our marks on the log and cache back where it belonged, it was time to head for home and a hot shower. Thanks for the challenge cache and smiley Fangsoki Big GrinHappy to part with a FTF for this cache.Nyssaflutterby fulfils challenge Proves to be a Sizeable Challenge (GCAW32M), according to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAW32M/90960

Awesome little 'lake' with a weir - which I assume drains out somewhere. Hmmm. Aaah the memories. The algorithm does it's thing and spits out seven caches very unrelated to each other (other than being old) all found on different adventures. From a boys weekend away to Melbourne (and surrounds), a few early finds from broader Brissy-vegas and the (same) boys first trip to sydney - such great memories so thanks for the reminders. Thanks Fangsoki for entertaining me at this location.Cool *{Overall find #12669}* Cool
