Maryborough Day 5We are now camped at the RV Homebase, catching up with our geocaching friends.Today we headed south towards Tiaro finding many different type of caches Quite a variety of hides & DTs found. In the afternoon Bill rode his bike along with Ian from Ian & Penny, out along the M2BRT-IP TrailThanks TheMaryPopIns for hiding this cache.
Hi there TheMaryPopIns, we found your cache M2BRT-IP 006 today. The e-bike has had its first service, and hopefully all the teething issues have been resolved. Ian is out riding with Bill from Di Morgan today to check out the trail (and the bike repairs). Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
I finally made it over to Maryborough to walk this end of the M2BRT. I was accompanied by two very active little Cavoodles who throughly enjoyed running around and sniffing everything. All caches were easily found and co-ordinates were spot on. Thank-you to Ian and Penny for adding these caches to TheMaryPopins collection.
Out and about with KabbellaQld and Danielle46, signing logs as KTD .quick and easy find TFTC
Out and about with ToucanKB and Danielle46, signing logs as KTD. For midmorning in spring, it was surprisingly hot walking along this section of the trail as there is little shade. Recommend choosing the access time carefully. Got smoked out in a few locations due to a local burn off but completed this section quickly. Well concealed hide here but difficult to access due to the barbed wire. Tftc
Geowife dropped me off at 010 and drove to the other end, while I had a smashing walk collecting the caches enroute. Met up with Treasuretrakas and sunseekerwanderers doing the same thing as myself only in the opposite direction - nice to meet you both. The coords were absolutely spot on for each cache. TFTC TheMaryPopIns
A lovely morning for a walk along the trail from this end. The caches were all in good condition and the coords were spot on for me. This is one I found, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks TheMaryPopins for all the caches found today.
In Maryborough for a week and the new rail trail was on our list. Thanks TMP for the placements.
Out caching along the trail on the e-scooter. Good weather, trail was smooth enough for a e-scooter. Caches found and logs signed. TFTC The MaryPopins
FTF: signed as WD21 Thank you to TheMaryPopIns group for putting this trail out. It's been a while since we took the e-bikes out. The weather didn't look promising, but we decided it was worth the ride. The MRT is super smooth, and all the caches were really easy to find, the co ordinates were spot on. Mother nature, having a mind of her own, decided to let the sky open up while we were riding home. Thanks once again. (generic post)
