Parked up across the road and followed the well trod path to GZ where MrT made a quick find. With an event down at Lake Clifton to celebrate Earthcaches in WA I tempted the kids with lunch and giant hunting for the afternoon and got a positive response from MrT.We had a great feed and catchup at the brewery and then made our way along the paths to Jyttes Hytte collecting the finds along the way. After a quick walk out to checkout the thrombolites before heading for a few more finds along Lake Clifton Rd.A fun afternoon out netted us 6 finds, 1 event attended and 0 DNFs. Thanks go to WayneO for placing and maintaining the Traditional cache Stumped for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 15:13 on 2/11/2024.This is find number 9486 for me.

Today the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to head to Dwellingup to do some maintenance on our own hidden six caches there, we had had word that potentially one was missing and others needed new logs . We did a circuit to get there collecting new and some older caches in the Murray Peel area along the way first. The areas around Clifton Lake, Heron Point , Birchwood , South Yunderup , Pinjarah were where we collected todays caches from. It was perfect weather pleasant yet quite cool. It was great that to many new caches have been placed in this area over the last few months all in good condition. It was also good to pick up a few quite old caches and convert them into yellow smilies on the map. Once we completed all our tasks in Dwellingup we were on our way back to Bunbury when we saw the message for new caches out in the Bunbury area at Eaton just up the road. We got back as quick as we could and we noted there were actually two not one First to Finds to be had . After spending quite a while at the first one we reluctantly gave up with no success . We then made our way to the second one and after a few minutes we had cache in hand and it was a FTF. All in all a great day out geocaching. This was our first cache find of the day ,we looped up the Old Coast Road in order to work our way back to the highway . Plenty of space to pull over and it did not take long to have cache in hand. Thanks for the cache find Wayne O .
Quick cache run to check on some of our caches. All good here and not an ant to be seen today. Happy caching
Nice sunny spring day...back down this neck of the woods so took the opportunity to grab a few lovely fresh as and a few pink orchids out...found the cache very quick but unfortunately disturbed an ants nest at GZ ..I think they liked the cache hidey TFTC and
In contrast to the last find we walked through a carpet of wild flowers here with the beautiful aroma of freesias.TFTC WayneO
A afternoon out with the boys today. Thanks for the geocaches placed for our enjoyment.
Out and about again, B12 fired a message from Albany to head out for a late afternoon cache - said 5pm was the earliest I could head out. Met at usual spot and headed out to Martins Tank then back up to Mandurah. This cache is find number - 16034.Thanks to WayneO for the caches I have found.
Out for an evening run south of the river to cleanup all the new found caches. Ventured as far south as Preston beach in particular the Martins Tank Campground and headed home via some Mandurah park and grabs. Thanks for the cache.
Intending for some ftfs this morning with axell33, we noticed that OOH YEH had beaten us to it by a couple of hours. We continued anyway with curiosity as I had spots picked out just the day before as we travelled down this very road that was clearly bare of caches with some good hiding spots! How uncanny it was to see all those new caches along the same road pop up overnight!! A nice quick find here and the mozzies were still bad! Thanks for the hide WayneO.
We noticed OOH YEH had just found these new caches as we left the house but after using this road yesterday and Leega pointing out that there were no caches along here and we should places some we felt obligated to visit your caches due to the splendid choice of location lol. This one was a nice quick park and grab and we soon had our names signed to your log. We returned your cache back to its place of hiding. TFTC WayneO.
