After lunch in Matamata, we were keen to find this cache hidden by G2 and Caleb. Whilst JAG was reading previous logs Net called out the magical words I found it!A well camouflaged and constructed cache here which will hopefully be safe here for a longtime. TFTC and FP given

After a DNF back in August out with KDG to do the Te Aroha - Matamata bike trail and finished up here. School was finished for the day so not many were about but a young Caleb approached us and offered to help. Still no joy and about to give up when it was found TFTC

Over with Boges doing the new cycleway caches. After completing that we came to have another look for this one. A previous look was unsuccessful and we were thinking that this was going to be the same. Luckily while we were looking a young boy came up and asked us if we were geocaching. It turned out to be Caleb. So with his help we resumed the search and eventually Boges came up with the well camouflaged cache. It may not have been where it was placed as it was found about knee height. Signed and put it back. Thank you for the frustration but this was negated by meeting the family.

We were heading over to walk some of the Hauraki Rail Trial when we noticed this cache was here so made a slight detour to look for it.When we saw it was in a park we hoped it wouldn't be full of muggles participating in Saturday morning sporting activities and were very pleased to find it deserted and were able to play a game of round and round the mulberry bush without being observed. We didn't spot this one at first but knew it was a G-2 hide so were suspicious of everything and methodically checked whatever we could see until one of the suspects was revealed to be the very cleverly camouflaged cache. Nice job as always.Once the log was signed and the cache replaced we headed off to start our Rail Trail adventure.TFTC.

Back over this way today and this one was on the list. Think the rain is coming tomorrow so good to get this lot done in nice weather. Nice and quiet here this morning as school is in. Read the hint and moved to the right side and spotted something which was a little different. Turned out to be a well crafted cache. Love the camo TFTC

A truly evil hide. I actually picked it up almost immediately and then discounted it. A check of the logs led to a more detailed search. Checked the other objects and was about DNF but decided on a PAF. Knowing I was in the right place, I did another search and found nothing suitable so had a closer look at my initial find. Yahoo! Great camouflage! TFTC & FP.
