In the area today with Eyespyben and KGD Awesome wee puzzle nice to get the final and last one for the day now off home we goThanks to the CO
Solving this all quickly fell into place soon after the cache was published. In the area today so swung by to sign the log. Thank you for the placement.
Ive had this solved for awhile but not been in the area until now. I made the solve harder as I didnt read the hint first but still had no trouble solving it. Thanks for the fun puzzle
We had solved this puzzle with no problems, but hadnt been in the area to find the cache and sign in. The grass was rather wet after the morning rain and so my feet got wet on the approach to gz. Once at gz the cache was quickly spotted. Thanks for a fun puzzle cache
This is a favourite type of puzzle so got stuck into it & quickly had the intel i needed. In the area today so stopped in to make a nice quick find.[TFTC]
( ) Yaah, finally made it here. 4th to solve and 3rd to find. I needed a mystery cache for a dot day, and while I had a few to choose from my little pile of solved caches, I chose this one to do today. ( ) So I took the 13 bus to the motorway, then a 11T to Pnt Chev, then picked up the 650 which brought me to Ladies Mile, then the 751 to the south of the location for GZ. Short walk from there on a warm sunny to get to GZ. No issues here, and cache in first place I checked, so all good here and off I went, back the way I came. ( ) The puzzle was a lot of fun to solve, took me a while and I did it on my computer and then with some paper and a pen. I was quite happy with 4th to solve, I assume bapboy was either 3rd or second. I wonder who was that other missing number. Anyway, great puzzle and thanks for making it for us ZL3AQT.
Had to get one of my daughters to print this out!Have only recently learned about Code Crackers this year, while on holiday. So I knew what to do, but it sure took a while !Like a few hours?Good brain work out though.Sent email to CO , then needed slight hint before I got recognisable co ords!Congrats on your first puzzle !Unexpectedly had the afternoon free, so I was keen to find it and sign off!Second to Find!Favourite Point....nicely done cache...even has a pencil! At least the cache finding was quick.!
9.31pm 17/8/24: can confirm Lumin was the first to solve. Gorby was the 4th solve. First to find is still up for grabs!
I was at work when this was published, and while I did have downtime, I didn't have any appropriate tools or technology with me to solve this, so as soon as I got home, I made use of my recently purchased printer, and got to work solving the puzzle. I have a love-hate relationship with these types of puzzles: they're a ton of fun, but they do my head in a little, as my party trick is converting between letters and numbers instantly (A=1, B=2, etc), so when I have to assign the letters to different numbers, I have to be careful to switch off that particular trick. I did enjoy myself though, and quickly got through each of the steps, and had some coordinates. It wasn't raining when I left home, but it sure was by the time I got to GZ. Thankfully, I wore my raincoat as a precaution, wandered on down the track, and quickly made the find. I was glad to find a blank log for the {FTF} for my troubles. Adding an FP for a great puzzle, TFTC!
First to solve (I guess) @ 19:38 - good puzzle! Unfortunately despite it being only a 17-minute drive from home, AT app tells me it would take 71 minutes each way by bus, which is a nice palindrome but too long to go at this time of night
