A scary day to be walking around in long grass especially near water. Anyhooo, i arrived at gz and started my search in the usual spots. Couldn't for the life of me find anything that could be the cache so i went back to the car where i have cool air. I looked through a few logs and read that it was a very different container. So here i am thinking oh gosh one ive never come across. I went back over the road and i then trusted the gps. Oh my gosh this is a cute container. Its a similar second of its kind i have found. Thank you for the search and the awesome cache. But man is it noisy here at this time of year. (Bugs in trees)
Spotted something that didn't look like it was local and reminded me of something I had found in Queenscliff. Log signed
We had a rather large search but came up empty here today.Might have to get a tip from a previous finder to see if we were in the right spot.
12:26After a weather imposed break from caching, we enjoyed a rock solid day of caching among the creeks, reserves, and interesting country-side of the Golden Plains. Now this is a very sneaky placement (not unlike one that we own in Queenscliff) and in a great location. After a traditional quick look in the usual places we settled down to a thorough and slow pulmonatic search. For our efforts, we found a neatly cammoed cache - FP for location and cache.Thank you to the CO who placed this cache.37386
A last minute dash winter dash was needed in order to finish off a challenge cache I signed many years ago. 8 finds needed before the day ended or I would have to wait another 9 months until winter comes around again, which I was not keen on. Certainly wintery conditions today, but with two sets of eyes most finds were made pretty quickly.Again, the young one was on fire, making the find before I had even had a chance to look. Having had one of these containers recently delivered im looking forward to getting another one of these out in the wild. TFTC.
A nice drive around some less travelled roads out this way for Suscoe. Thanks to steveanco for this hide.A favourite from us, tricky and interesting. We wondered if there were any fish in the river?
Brilliant hide! We wandered around GZ and it wasn't till we stood back a bit that we spotted the cache. Never seen one like it! Tftc. Great to find such a great cache for our 4444th find. Favourite point from us.
I couldnt resist heading into the back roads in search of a few fun hides. Cache: This one had me at first until spotting something that caught my eye. Great camo for the location.Log signed and replaced as found Thanks for the traditional cache Steveanco #8,178Favourite point added
Because I wasnt far from this new cache I thought I would give it a go. I struggled on a new one a few days ago from the same CO so I was a little nervous. However after reading the Sims family with their FTF post and saying to trust the coordinates, I did and with a search of no more than 3-4 minutes I had found it!! Nice style of cache which I havent seen before so I will definitely give a favourite point for it!! Thank you Steveanco!!
