Hard to do these finds without making any noise but Mrs KC and I did it quickly, signed and replaced and onto the next. TFTC
Out with Supernanny. It is always good to do these ones with two people.Trying not to make too much noise. Thanks.
Out with Net61 in the area....Very easy....not too many folk in the area today .Had to look up the meaning of this song...never heard of it before!
Stopped to grab this one while in ww. The carpark was quite full around the cache, but there was one spot left, right in front of it, perfect! The youngest jumped out and grabbed it, I signed and returned it. I didn't think I hated this song, but after having it stuck in my head all day, I'm with flossie!
Out on the hunt for an FTF with WildTulip and then remembered the equinox souvenir and thought that my sister was never going to get that unless we made a couple of extra finds so, as I had yet to make a find here despite having been close a few times since it was published, we came to find and sign the log here. Super quick find, knew where it was as we drove up. Thanks for the placement TWS!
Thanks for the hide, quick drive from a nearby FTF while out caching with garball. Thanks for the hide
Scurried over to grab this one while the moto was being loaded. My first lamp cache in a while. And I couldnt care less if its one of my last!
I was down in Auckland for the weekend. Friday I went geocaching in the Matakana and Omaha areas. Saturday and Sunday were family days and Monday I went geocaching in the Whangaparoa and Warkworth areas. We walked the kids to daycare and school this morning then my youngest son and I set off on our day. I saw this come out when I was with the family. I quickly searched it up - 32 mins to get there. Too far and I don't like the idea if ditching family time for geocaching. I had to look up the song mentioned by flossieteacake and then search the meaning. Got an education there. Here I was just wondering if this Pac'N'Save was owned or run by a Dutch family. I always feel a bit suspicious doing these types of hides. There's no way to be subtle as the grating sound announces your presence to all around. A quick find, thanks
I wasn't sure if it was worth making the drive to this one tonight, as there have been some quick finds in this area that make it physically impossible for someone based where I am to get the {FTF}, but since this was still unclaimed by the time most cachers seem to be in bed, I thought I'd give it a go. Google Maps was threatening me with motorway closures on the drive up, but thankfully none of those eventuated, and I made it to GZ without any drama. I was intrigued to find the gates to the carpark were closed, perhaps to discourage the local hooligans from using it as a drift pad? Although Warkworth's hooligans, in my experience, tend to be on four much smaller wheels... Anyway, an easy wander down to GZ and a quick find of the blank log here. TFTC!
I remember watching Musical Youth perform this on Blue Peter. I hated the song then and I still do, and now it is going to be in my brain for the rest of the day, and make me a cranky old woman.
