Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Now staying a few days in Hoddyswell with Iluvtrekking. This morning we headed off together towards Avon valley for 3 caches before returning to Toodyay for brunch at a lovely little cafe (Early Mist Cafe) which had the best poached eggs. We split up after brunch and we headed up to Bolgart before returning via a few multi's, where we bumped into Team Chwiliwr before abandoning the hunt to return for happy hour. Crops are looking good, albeit still far too green to be harvested. TFTC crabzy11

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining all these wonderful caches for us to enjoy. In Toodyay for IGD weekend with AlliedOz & Kyzabra for a day of caching with lots of inappropriate, and often uncalled for, banter thrown in here and there. A great day with heaps of finds and no DNF's. Signed the top line of the log book so claiming the FTF on this one. crabzy11 I found your cache at 10:45am, this was the 38th of 74 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8804. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
Saturday, Day 2 of IGD, was filled with adventures around Toodyay. The morning was spent at the event hall, running introductory sessions and chatting with those who came through. After a hearty lunch, I rushed off to try and snag some tags before returning to town to pick up SirFancy. We then decided on our plan for the afternoon. Opting to head out into the countryside, we targeted a series of puzzles, challenges, and multi-caches. Despite the wet weather in the area, we werent sure how much wed be able to accomplish along the dirt tracks, but fortunately, there were no issues, and we completed all of them.Back in town, we grabbed a few traditional caches before joining the community for dinner and birthday cake at the evening event. We finished the night by joining a large group for a night cache mission in the rain.I had an absolute blast today, and it was great to see so many geocachers out and about. By the time I returned to the accommodation at the end of the long day, I had managed to log 45 finds, sign 12 challenges, attend 2 events, and record only 1 DNF. Thanks go to crabzy11 for placing and maintaining the Multi-Cache cache Federation Square for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 16:29 on 17/8/2024.This is find number 9210 for me.
I waited for the two groups who were already out here to log this find since I had calculated GZ so knew where it was hidden. Thanks for the cache.
