Looks like the beetles like this one more than the fairies.

After finding the four caches on the east arm of the loop track, now we are looping back on the western arm. The cache was a quick find, no bark covering just a few branches. It can't be seen from the track, plus I couldn't see any bark in the vicinity to cover, so left the cache as found. TFTC.

After a check to how the weather would be, it was off on a 3 day trip to the West Coast, weather tunred out to be great , and a lot of great caches found-, Many thanks to all the caches placers Bitsprayer

What a fantastic walk - TFTC

Mrs Biggles and I decided on brunch in Hororata this morning and a bit of a country drive after that to find a few caches. Having done the fairy trail near Methven, I was keen to do this one as well. I wasn't disappointed and found all the (active) caches safe and sound. Would love to bring the grandkids out here for a wander one day. Maybe when they visit at Christmas... Anyway, Thanks for the Fun and TFTC, Biggles.

I'm needing a few more caches for my Bakers Dozen challenge (find 50 cache each month for 13 months), and this seemed like a lovely wee cluster for a Sunday afternoon.GeoHubby (GNARwhal), Miss 11 (UnicornLex) and I headed off searching for fairy doors and caches. We were successful on both counts. A shame #2 is currently disabled, but no bother as it's a great place to come back to again.Thanks for setting these up.

Beginning to understand the set op of this forest and with the absolute lack of birds it certainly can't be called "Bush!!!!" Mind you plenty of folk to chat to, as you go along and a great place for dogs. Thanks for the hide we are enjoying the walk.

After lunching on delightful pies at the Darfield Bakery Mrs BE and I went for a walk in the forest seeking the Fairy Forest #1 - #4 caches. We were both disappointed at the almost total lack of birdsong in the forest. We heard just 1 piwakawaka and 1 other type (which we couldn't see as it was high up in the tree tops). We both wondered why there were so few birds here. Surely the Fairies hadn't scared them away? TFTC.

Came to collect this set, to got for a walk and get a few more points for the Cosmic Challenge. Quickly located in this night little walk, a couple others were out and about this afternoon... looks like I just missed BaldEd too. TFTC LuckySteaks, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 find(s) of 6 today, making this find #4911

Third FTF for the day. A cold but interesting walk met several friendly dogs and a group of chatting ladies. Another easy find. TFTC
