Found at 10:15 AM GAFF4. Now for a D of 3.5 - this was really tough to work out let me tell you! It was also really difficult to spot the cache and it required a PAF to find it Once that was all over it was a simple matter of employing the TOTT and signing the log sheet.Love the Simpson based caches - watched a lot of the episodes in the early days and even taught sex education to our son on one of the famous episodes Thanks Portstevo.
This was a cracker of a puzzle and equally difficult cache to find. We phoned a couple of friends and we could soon see the cache. You think the hard [art is done on retrieval of these fishing caches, but fun has just begun. Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
Had a morning to spare so decided to look for this cache. After reading logs we thought we should be able to reach this cache.Took quite some time to locate the great cache container, a very good job done on making it. This was once again at the extreme of our pole, as the saying goes were gunna need a bigger pole.A FP given for your container & different puzzleThanks for the hide Portstevo
This one was so tricky-- found a fair amount of red herrings while trying to solve this one. I must say lots of help was provided by CO (thanks) and many conversations with a previous finder to see if I could get some hints. Unfortunately no co ordinates became green for me. So I resorted to an unconventional way and headed off for a little walk, in a location close to the incorrect co ordinates I had gleened from my solving attempts. After a couple of visits I returned again today with Wollaston and with joint minds and eyes we scoured the location for our prize. Finally I spotted the entity I was looking for. Wollaston handled the retrieval, although a bit of debris was in the way, it was quickly removed and retrieval proceeded smoothly. Signed log and returned. This is also a cache I will have to reluctantly give a favorite point too, but I implore the CO not to make all his caches this hard, please.
Outnabout with grey team while back in town for a week. It does genuinely and continuously amaze me how some people just keep coming up with ingenious ways to hide information on a cache page. Well done, its a favourite point from me. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC PortstevoFor anyone looking for bucket list event to attend, check out: GCANXX1 - GeoWoodstock XXI on 24th May 2025 in West Virginia, USA. See you there.
Ay caramba! This puzzle was extraordinarily devious and absolutely did my head in for a number of days, if only I could have stepped into the place of Mr Burns and released the hounds on the CO I ran into dead end after dead end, and just when I thought I found them all, oh look there's another one, and another one... etc. I was really starting to think that solving this puzzle was unpossible.Eventually decided to try out the unconventional method that had just worked for another of the CO's caches and to our absolute surprise, it worked perfectly once again. Woo-hoo!The retrieval was easy enough as it was not that high, especially when compared to other recent caches in the area. The housing was perfectly on theme, and a brief question of how to access the inside was soon answered. No first to find as "Homer" did in fact sign the logbook Thanks for the cache eat my shorts, I mean FP given
