Logs
Taking the very long way home means an afternoon out Moggill way cleaning up my mapA nicely crafted cacheThanks Cat_zilla
Quick grab and go.. everything in good condition here..Thanks for the cache.. I've loved the WAGGS caches in this area!
Park and grab in a way. Nicely concealed here. I used to own a cache just down the road.TFTC where all is fine!
Kusafiri apparently translates into "to Journey" so I journeyed by river boat to this one and soon located the cache. Luckily I didn't come last Sunday as it seems almost a busload of folk all came and found it on the one day. I wonder if they were from the local guide group? Cat_zilla, please publish Pax real soon if you are planning to publish one, as the Moggill ferry folk are starting to greet me by name and the fares are costing me a fortune. An easy find, so added "G.M." to the log. TFTC, Cat_zilla.
Nearly knocked myself out! I wonder what muggles thought I was doing? I actually found it looked at it and then dismissed it!.
Great hide. Land of the Silver birch/Canoe song my favourite campfire songs. TFTC
Logging it! My favourite is Land of the Silver Birch closely followed by Fred the Moose.
I had picked the area around here for my caching day and I happened to see a new cache notification for this cache last night. I knew that I would have to put it on my list.I parked close by and strolled to GZ and spotted a likely hide. I moved it only to discover there was no cache attached. I then looked down and spotted the cache on the ground.I signed the log and put the cache back where it belonged. I can't say that I can remember having a campfire sing along.TFTC Cat_zilla
FTF 9.30amCampfires burning, campfires burning.Draw nearer, draw nearer. In the gloaming, in the gloaming.Come sing and be merry.Another Thursday morning FTF trip to Moggill after school drop off this morning. This one was a bit trickier to find than the others and it took a bit of wandering around to spot it. Thanks for another great WAGGGS cache Cat_zilla! Im not a great singer but I loved singing around the campfire when I was a guide. I especially loved singing songs in a round like the one above, which was sung at almost every campfire, or my other favourite was The Lion Sleeps Tonight.
