Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Six: Merri-bek (which ProjectGC is still calling Moreland at this point).Weather: the wind was back briefly, but generally a great day.An easier commute for me today, Im still getting used to early morning traffic in Melbourne. Good food and great company, particularly hearing about recent caching overseas. Now on to the CITO. Thanks for this event nirgalagrin.

08:13With enough "Will Attends" to almost fill the big table, it was no surprise to see all of the happy smiling faces crowded around it by the time everyone arrived, and it would have spilled onto the nearby ones if a few more hopeful attendees hadn't been delayed enough by a collision on the Ring Road that we'll see them at the lake.Thanks, everyone, for coming. I just barely managed to be first here this morning, and was joined by the usual earlybirds just after my cappuccino arrived. The poached eggs weren't far behind.Great food and lively conversation... Left home at Zero Dark Hundred again, it seems to be a habit I've got myself into. Arrived early to find a few there already. Ordered breakfast and coffee, then returned to the seat as the rest of the gang began to arrive. Conversations began to break out everywhere. A great turnout with a good spread of experiences and locations.Thanks nirgalagrin for hosting this event cache, enhancing the game board and adding to our enjoyment.

We both got up early and had a chat with the usual folks, plus a few faces we hadn't seen before. A nice gathering, thanks.
Once again an awesome breakfast was had at this little cafe. So nice to catch up with geocaching chums.

Well I intended to get here early enough to grab a cup of coffee before the CITO, however the major accident on the Ring Road has other ideas and I made it for the last 5 minutes to say g'day before everyone ventured over to the Coburg Kane for the CITO. Thanks for organising Nirgalagrin.
