Found under torchlight tonight grabbing a couple caches while there are no muggles around. Had the right tool to make the find, all good here. Find #7130 on 18 Nov 2024.TFTC Adelaide Geocachers!
With a couple of days free, I decided to head off on an overnight solo caching and camping trip.I targeted a few caches of interest, including this one.The cache container and contents were found in good condition. Thanks Adelaide Geocachers for the cache.
Taking a few days off work so I can get away to Mildura for a long weekend. Of course I stopped for a few caches along the way. Perfect conditions to be outside and geocaching. All puzzles were solved in preparation of this trip. Armed with my TOTTs, all caches were found without problems. Given the recent string of DNFs, I decided to skip this one and go to number 2. Number 2 was found so I decided to back track to this cache. Given Number 1 and 2 have the same DT rating, I proceeded under the assumption they would both be at the same height. This assumption worked out to be true and I managed to spot the cache without too much trouble. Thank you Honeysucker, for placing Lonely Fisherman #1 for the geocaching community.# # #15354 # #
With a family swimming and paddling nearby, I didnt stay as long as I normally would. There is only so long you can stand and admire a tree without looking odd. I will keep a watch and see if someone else spots this one! I did come and have another look on my way home, but still no luck!
No luck today. We visited GZ a total of 3 times but couldn't spot the elusive fishy.Hope the fisherman who spent the day nearby had better luck.Loved the rest of the series.
We looked ..... and looked ..... 30 minutes later we gave up!!! Went off and did the other 20 in this great series and then came back!! Again we looked and looked and looked .... then after 20 minutes we gave up!!!Then later that day we were a bit to early for a pub meal so we returned ..... and looked and looked and looked!!!!!!!!!!! After a final 15 minutes we realised that even if we saw the %$%$%#@ thing it was probably going to be higher than our pole!!!!! Bugger
Well that was evil. Pure evil. Eventually found after 2 man hr hunt on this one (3 people)TFTC SL
Escaped to the Riverland with Cheezel1961 and WayneAPN for a weekend of high terrain/unloved cache caching involving kayaks and the usual tomfoolery associated with these trips. This cache caused us all sorts of trouble, as it took us nearly 2hrs of looking (between the 3 of us) to finally spot it as it was very well hidden, and the coords were about 3m away from where we eventually found the cache. We looked and looked and in desperation climbed up the 5m ladder to look at the tree from a different perspective. Then I spotted the thin wire that held the cache - woohoo! found it!Very glad to have found this one, as it was a real challenge - and probably should be a D4 in its current placement. Thanks for the challenge on this one! A very rewarding feeling to finally get it.
Found with Beaker, TFTC, great hide and cache! Sneaky. Sneaky. Sneaky!!!! Thanks for the help!
Found with LittleLeah79 after the Lake Bonney event. Finally!!!!!TNLNSLTFTCTTFNBeaker DGS
We were getting away for the weekend to the Riverland, so decided to time it so as to get to the events at Lake Bonney today and tomorrow. Then BAMM the next day 21 new cache were published, near the events too! We found 7 of them before today's Event, then 13 after. All bar one had very good co-ords and easy to find the cute containers! This was the first, and hardest to spot! The wind didn't help retrieval ore replacement either!2TF for us...TNLNSL Thanks
Day four of a short trip to SA with ConnieandRick. After we went to Renmark, we noticed that some new puzzles had appeared on lake Bonney. While driving there we solved most of them in the car (and could nearly read my writing later!)Grabbed [FTF]s on all this series.Required the fishing pole for this one, and after we found this we had a good idea of what to look for. Thanks for this series, Robmc.
We're out in SA mainly to do some of the OYB series with Robmc but today was a trip to Renmark and surrounds. We'd just had lunch and saw these puzzles. What, just out today! So I drive, Robmc solves and here we are. Having the right Tott helped here too.Log signed and off to the next one. Joint [FTF].
