Staying nearby on a weekend trip to Brisbane so after breakfast ALLYA81 and I wandered over to GZ and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache pea555Find #6663
Considering it has just been replaced and it is early in the morning, I thought it would be a wick easy find, but no. Saw 2 magnets glued to the pile. Checked under both poles.
Day two - GCLOGAN Friday - Here We GoDeciding to head down for the whole day again, I hit up a more on my own before attending the event.Quick find.I found your cache, Dan's Poley today. This is my 3355 find.pea555, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
I parked close to where I thought the cache was hiding and found that I was 2 car spaces from another vehicle which was evidently being used for accommodation. There was no motion from the vehicle so I did a quick search and recovered the cache.I sat in my car and signed the log and then noticed that a "resident" was returning to their vehicle. I sat for a while and then quickly returned the cache. I am not sure if I was being watched or not.TFTC pea555
Found this cache on my way home from attending the nearby WWFM event. Discovered that all the 'Uber eats' drivers park in front of the large pole and all along the garden edge. Had to wait until they drove off before I could swoop in and out without being seen.Thank you, pea555, MysterydoctorGeo, for this neat hide.
We love traditional caches. As we were in the area, we made a line for this smile . Gotcha. Nice clean cache. Tftc
With a little time to spare before the Logan Event this evening I decided to exit the Parking Lot otherwise known as the Pacific Highway and find a cache or threeYou would think this is the most fascinating carpark in Logan by the amount of people sitting in their cars apparently with nothing better to do I think Ive stumbled onto some secret Pokmon gathering Thanks pea555
Caching in the area today on the last day of winter. We found Cache but our pen wouldn't work so took it back to car to use different pen.A man was parked nearby and we didn't want to raise suspicion, so we drove the car closer to GZ cutting off his view. Thanks pea555, MysterydoctorGeo
Bit of a gross area with rubbish everywhere and rust/paint sticking to the magnet. Thanks for the cache pea555
Over from NZ visiting and doing as much caching as other commitments allow. After working in the garden all morning, was checking out where I should go caching this afternoon, when this new cache publication notice came through. Hmmmm..?? It's 20 minutes away from our accommodation, but if I get ready quick, maybe there's a chance of an FTF ... ??So, a rush around to get my caching gear for the afternoon and 15 minutes after publication, I was on my way. There were a few hold ups with traffic lights, but I made reasonable time. Then, whilst waiting at some lights 3 minutes away from GZ, a notification came through with an FTF log. Bother, just missed out. ??At GZ the cache was a nice quick find and I guess a 2nd to find, just 8 mins behind the others can't be all bad. ?? TFTC
***Joint FTF *** with geo-friends. After attending an Event at Kangeroo Point we headed off to get a couple more caches on the way home. This was one. Quick and easy find, log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

*FTF* with othersWow it is funny how things turn out on a caching day. I went to the morning event and met up with a bunch of people. At the end of the event we walked over to grab a couple of caches in the area. After which we all said goodbye and went our separate ways. I went off to check on a couple of DNF's I had on some of the Sail boat caches. It turns out two were there and one is constantly getting hit, so I had to replace it again. After that I started my way over to the southside for a couple of caches to fill in my day. Just then an email with a new cache in the area and close to where I am heading to. I rang a couple other cachers to see where they were and said let's meet there. We all arrived at the same time and Hatzofff did the signing of the log. We replaced the cache as found and again said we had other plans. I went into the local burger store and sat near the windows that looked out towards the cache. While I was sitting there another person arrived and signed the log. After my quick snack, I then went up the road a little and grabbed a couple of caches before turning to head south again. Just then two more new caches came out and I rang my team again and we went off to grab those as well. We finished off the day with three FTF's and a couple of stray caches in the area. Oh it's funny the people you meet while caching as we were stopped at one ftf, another cacher pulls up and jumps in on the party. We welcomed him along for the ride, lol. A great afternoon, all totally unexpected and all a lot of fun. Thanks for the cache and a favourite point from me for the *FTF*
