Logs
After a long hot day at the aths track, I swung past for this and made a quickish find. Thanks to Smeatsies for the fun and the adventure.
Fortunately managed to pick a time when this area was underutilised which allowed me plenty of time to search uninterrupted. It didnt take too long to locate and the log was signed and the cache replaced before being distributed.A big thanks goes to Smeatsies for taking the time to add Old school to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! On another great day of caching with Redcb, we stopped off to look for this fellow. Neither of us understood the cryptic clue, but we eventually located it. We then had a better understanding of what the clue meant. Thanks for the fun, Smeatsies. A favourite point coming your way.
Oh gosh, I am hopeless at cryptic clues, utterly hopeless! Crustyvarmint and I spent some time nutting over what the hint could mean before finally just searching ll the usual places. It wasn't until Crustyvarmint laid hands on the little fella that the hint made wonderful sense and delight. A very clever cryptic clue indeed. A favourite coming to you Smeatsies.......had me chuckling and marvelling at how your brain ticks over!
Looked for a bit but couldnt finding it, I always seem to DNF bus stop caches hehe
Out and about today on the weekend enjoying the weather and the cache hunting. Today's focus was initially a CITO because I needed one on the 20th of the month. After that we had a nice lunch and gathered a few caches on a roundabout way home to avoid the toll roads.Just as we parked a girl arrived at the bus stop but luckily she checked the time table and then left. In the meantime, I read a couple of logs and realised where it was. Waited for the cars to pass and up for a quick grab. Thanks Smeatsies for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Great spot, amazing timing that someone else was here finding it two mins before us, we might have missed it otherwise
T4TC, came previously couldn't reach it , today I came with geoson. good hide . Greetings from Singapore
Not today, where I thought the cache was there was too many people around so I gave it a miss. Thanks anyway Smeatsies.Greytiger
It was a drizzly, wet, cold day and Muggle Husband was immersed in his latest project, and did not fancy going out. I was bored so decided to jump on a train and bus and head for this cache. I was mystified as to where it could be, so I mounted a methodical search and so had the cache in my grip. It was a good day to target this cache, as there was no one else around. Great hiding place.
Caching around the area today as I dont get out this way much. Luckily Im 6 foot and could reach the cache without causing too much suspension from passing motorists. TFTC
Found at 10:10Out for a walk to the bakery around the corner and stopped in for a look. It took me a minute of searching before I located the container. Thanks Smeatsies for the cache
With a little help from my friend aussiejan I got this one! She drove the getaway vehicle.. TFTC!
Out for our semi-regular Tuesday after work caching run with quiet1_au, this was the first for the arvo. We all looked around different parts of the beacon until a bus arrived thankfully dropping someone off, not stopping for us lol GMelb then found the cache, a quick sign and off we went TFTC Smeatsies - GJMMelb
Out for another early evening weekly caching run with G&J GJMMelb, I was running a little late so arrived on scene just after they did but we all set about finding this one at the only place the GPS agreed upon (despite anothe location close by). Without giving too much away, G found it after we all eliminated the other likely spots, with bus briefly interupting procedings (to left off a muggle rather than in response to our presence thankfully!...) TFTC
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Just as we arrived a lady arrived to catch the bus, once she was onboard the cache was soon found. Having worked in the public transport sector as a bus driver I am never keen on caches in bus stops, there is nothing worse than stoping at a bus stop to be waved on.Thanks Smeatsies for the cache.
