I needed a Multi today to fill in my calendar for a challenge I signed in New Zealand in February to fill in a whole year of Multis. I was so glad to see when this cache was published as it is close to work. I came past a few weeks ago and got the information needed but some how I got mixed up when I took the information back to work. I could not see where I had gone wrong so put it aside. Later on I straight away realized I put one number wrong . Always good to look at things fresh .Today before work I was planning to ride here but oh the rain . So i parked at Roma park gardens and took a walk in the rain to GZ and looked in a couple of places before standing back and thinking that looks like a good spot and it seems to fit the hint (lol) and there it was. What a great day to be a geocacher Thanks Alisnan for a fun multi. Now i have a colour, christian name, animal and nice easy multi.
Heading into the city for a meeting, but we're so far ahead of schedule there's time to cache.Made our way from Roma Street and up through the parklands to where we needed to be for our info. Calculations done and a new set of co-ords entered. Hint helped make sense of it all and the cache was soon located.Signed as TB (Team B) to save room.TFTC
the hint is very cool walk through the gardens to visit barbara the ibisoh ... someone has put elves on the cactus ... nicethey have started to put up the pieces ready for the christmas lightsnow off down the bikeway to yasmintook a little to find but we wanted to be careful
Day 9 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. A leisurely drive up. Avoiding GC power trails. Randomly driving to various spots that take my fancy. Geospouse Graubunden now with me for five days. After a nap when hailstones came and went, a late afternoon geocaching! Just as we found the hide after solving the coordinates, a drizzle broke out . Thanks Alisnan for your hide, my 2243 find.
My neighbour wanted to go out for steak, so I asked if I could tag along it was that or BGS Sports, and that might be inappropriateStanding at the posted I found all the required info and then set off for GZ I totally missed the relevance of the hint until I was half way homeThanks Alisnan a nice use of the urban environment
Back in Brisbane for a last day before heading back to Paris, planning on doing some souvenirs shopping and a few last caches. Quick multi, Tftc ! Greetings from France
After the Tardy Mouse event in Ashgrove this morning I went looking for a few more of the drum caches before driving down to Roma St Parklands to have a look for this multi. I thought I knew most areas of this park but it seems not, as I have not been along this track before. At the waypoint, the numbers were easy to calculate and the final co-ordinates were obtained. Another short walk brought me to GZ. Not much traffic around this place in the middle of the day, which was good for searching, and with the help of the hint I made a nice quick find of the cache. Thanks Alisnan for the creating this fun little multi and for the clever cache hide!
Tftc. Quickly worked out coordinates and at gz the hint helped me to the hide straight away. Good hide.
My daughter and I had an errand to do together in Mount Gravatt, then we decided to take a wander around Roma Street Parklands as there was a Binny I needed for an AL, and she wanted to grab some Pokemons. After that we continued to this cache. The puzzle took some nutting through, but eventually we made it to GZ and got the find. TFTC, Alisnan.
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! Today I spent another day in Brisbane. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. In the morning I spent some time in the city centre and I hosted an event. After that I went to the oldie "Queens land". What a day! I also looked for many geocaches like this one. I found all the required information at stage 1. After that I was successful and I found the final container. Thank you for this geocache and hi to the CO says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
A nice morning drive and a couple of new caches have appeared overnight. I was completing the new caches and thought that while there was no one around this morning, I will try to grab a few of the other caches in the area, just to clean up the lonely caches. Some fun hides and a couple that are obviously in high muggle areas. All logs were signed and all caches replaced as found. This was a nice multi and needing a gap filled in my grid, this one filled in nicely, If I was first to find. I spent way too much time at the plaque collecting and working out the numbers correctly. With some numbers sorted I went for a walk to hopefully get the find. Searching around I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of hides available here, but a read of the hint and I had a better area to search. I looked around and found it in the first place I looked. Now the moment am I first, Oh yeah I signed the log and returned the cache as found and then continued on to a couple other caches in the area. Thanks for the hide and a favourite fpoint for the *FTF*
*STF* Second to Find at 05:10 hr.An early morning awake and I thought Id use the opportunity for a run of a newly published cache. Thus multi-cache is on my daily cycle commute, so was quite familiar with the location, although I couldnt have told you about the plaque.Arriving to find a park just above, I thought Id refresh the cache page and still no finders, so that was looking promising. No issues with observing the right numbers, and then it was onwards with a short jog to GZ. I checked a few spots first before taking a step back and finding the logical hiding spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and it seems I was pipped to the line! Thanks Alisnan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
