Friday caching with oldmorty. Today, we are in the Campbelltown area.Enjoyed the walk across to this cache, noticing lots of big black crows around.Quick find by me this time.Thanks to Quiffle for the cache.
Frazeydaze and I headed down to Campbelltown today to hunt down some caches that had been placed since our last visit here. Frazeydaze did the honours here, in fact she had the CIH before I reached gz. I've previously heard about Kevin Wheatley but was unaware of his connections with Maroubra where I live and Surry Hills where geoson morty8888 lives. Cache is all good. SLRC as found. TFTC Quiffle.
Travelling south on the Hume Freeway to Victoria. We Stopped for something to eat and drink and to stretch the legs. A number of caches in a Park nearby helped with the exercise and added to our caching stats too. A sneaky hide, but we found it and SL at 12.40pm. Thank goodness the breeze is keeping it cooler today. #11,403 TFTC Quiffle

TFTC, brought a first time friend who loved it. I did find a message to be not really helpful tho.
A birds eye view if you are one of the bin chickens wading in the drain. Very clever use of common type of hide. TFTC
A cache trip to Penrith and the Blue Mountains with a large group from Canberra, as we all split and made our different ways home the local charger brought me here as did Dino and Pebbles who I collected here. This cache: A quick find. In a very opportunistic hiding spot that stood out. Well done here a fun find. Thank you Quiffle for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

A short systematic search before seeing the most likely hiding spot. Nicely hidden. TFTC Quiffle
School holidays so we headed out op shopping at Hoxton park on the way home we decided to stop at the newer caches near home. At ground zero we found a couple of birds singing away but they were not bothered by us. Quick find. TFTC and the future memories when we think back about the day we stopped for a cache and I was bitten by something on the back of the leg
After unsuccessfully checking the obvious spots, I noticed a clever alternative. TFTC.
TFTC. ??Sarah and Bethany. Took a little rest on the concrete water pits with some lunch from RR to mask our searching. Very busy park today with lots of Oosh excursions and kids on holidays. Poked around and found it close by.
Ive never said that I wax ever good as a finder, but it does seem that unless I have to trudge through thick bush in wet and freezing conditions, I have trouble locating caches
A detour from my normal Thursday to find a nicely hidden cache. No muggles around in a brisk southerly, resulting in a quick find. TFTC
A nice cache to honour on of our highly decorated veterans. The advantage is nearby parking. Spotted a likely place and there it was.Thanks for the find Quiffle.
Out today for a quick visit into Campbelltown with this cache happen to be nearby . A stroll through the carpark taken up by a group of traffic controllers and their trucks spotted the area straight away where the search was needed . At GZ a quick poke produced the key for my find . The memorial nearby reminded me its not only wars that we have human tragedy . TFTC Quiffle
FTF 16:20 just was leaving home to drop off our granddaughter, when this new cache notification came through. After dropping off GD it was a quick detour to the parking location, and then a short walk and search at GZ. Located the cache and blank log, thanks.
