I could see the baby blackberry plants between the track and the cache, so pleased we were able to easily dodge the prickles. Might be a different story in a year or two!Another quick find. TFTC.
After a check to how the weather would be, it was off on a 3 day trip to the West Coast, weather tunred out to be great , and a lot of great caches found-, Many thanks to all the caches placers Bitsprayer
Mrs Biggles and I decided on brunch in Hororata this morning and a bit of a country drive after that to find a few caches. Having done the fairy trail near Methven, I was keen to do this one as well. I wasn't disappointed and found all the (active) caches safe and sound. Would love to bring the grandkids out here for a wander one day. Maybe when they visit at Christmas... Anyway, Thanks for the Fun and TFTC, Biggles.
Nice way to finish the work week with a pleasant evening stroll in daylight savings time through the forest, and to grab one more cache while completing the loop.Quick find.*TFTC LuckySteaks #1,029*
I'm needing a few more caches for my Bakers Dozen challenge (find 50 cache each month for 13 months), and this seemed like a lovely wee cluster for a Sunday afternoon.GeoHubby (GNARwhal), Miss 11 (UnicornLex) and I headed off searching for fairy doors and caches. We were successful on both counts. A shame #2 is currently disabled, but no bother as it's a great place to come back to again. Thanks for setting these up.
Enjoyed finding the doors. You dont need to be a child to enjoy a walk in a Fairy Forest. TFTCyiu
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I headed out west for lunch and a few caches. McHughs is a nice place for a walk!Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Second time here, and good to know what we could expect. Many walkers and dogs, but no birds. Strange!!! Thank you for the little series.
Our last find in the forest today, May be another visit another day for addition caches ???? TFTC. A fx for the series
**FTF** 8amSpied the new Fairy caches late last night and thought an early adventure might be on the cards. It has been a good few years since I last walked these tracks. Love the fairy doors.A lovely wee morning walk, the day looks to be dawning sunny. A bit of bird activity, and a few dog walkers starting their days but nothing drastic. After the first surge of doggos i had the place to myself. Easy enough to find the caches in between any wanders. A fun wee morning interlude.Thanks.
