We must have been walking too fast as we overshot GZ, so had to walk back a bit until the GPSr "caught up". Another quick find. A lot of time and effort has been spent creating these fairy doors. This would be a good walk to do on a warm day as the shade cast by the tall trees was very welcome. TFTC.
After a check to how the weather would be, it was off on a 3 day trip to the West Coast, weather tunred out to be great , and a lot of great caches found-, Many thanks to all the caches placers Bitsprayer
Thanks very much CO on taking us on a magical journey through the forest - TFTC
Found with Gazania Rigens during our little rest stop walk in this charmingly fairy-infested forest.TFTC
Another quick find in this peaceful forest. We didn't meet anyone else during our short walk. The only people we saw were at the parking area. TFTC!
Mrs Biggles and I decided on brunch in Hororata this morning and a bit of a country drive after that to find a few caches. Having done the fairy trail near Methven, I was keen to do this one as well. I wasn't disappointed and found all the (active) caches safe and sound. Would love to bring the grandkids out here for a wander one day. Maybe when they visit at Christmas... Anyway, Thanks for the Fun and TFTC, Biggles.
I'm needing a few more caches for my Bakers Dozen challenge (find 50 cache each month for 13 months), and this seemed like a lovely wee cluster for a Sunday afternoon.GeoHubby (GNARwhal), Miss 11 (UnicornLex) and I headed off searching for fairy doors and caches. We were successful on both counts. A shame #2 is currently disabled, but no bother as it's a great place to come back to again. Thanks for setting these up.
Another quick trip to the fairy forest during my lunch break to grab another cache on a dot day.*TFTC LuckSteaks #1,028*
Spent a bit of time looking for this one. The fairies were playing hide and seek with us. TFTC
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I headed out west for lunch and a few caches. McHughs is a nice place for a walk!Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Quite a stroll to find and there were many people on the trails, Most with a dog!!! Good to have a chat as we went along. Thank you.
**FTF** 750amSpied the new Fairy caches late last night and thought an early adventure might be on the cards. It has been a good few years since I last walked these tracks. Love the fairy doors.A lovely morning walk, the day looks to be dawning sunny. A bit of bird activity, and a few dog walkers starting their days but nothing drastic. After the first surge of doggos i had the place to myself. Easy enough to find the caches in between any wanders. A nice wee stroll.Thanks.
