Thanks to everyone for coming along to my CITO, we definitely made a difference and its nice to be able to clean up these frequently visited areas. See you at the next one
Nice to get out this morning and have some us time. Saw some familiar faces and caught up which was also nice. Picked up a full bag of rubbish pretty quickly so it was a good spot for a CITO.Thanks for hosting another successful CITO Rapidlywild.
Thanks to everyone who came along to help clean up another VC rest stop. All up today, there were just over 6 garbage bags of rubbish collected from the areas that generally get over looked by the council clean ups. It was rather windy today, so it made it hard to keep the bags in order when placing items into them, however, it was a little comical ??Time to plan the next clean up.. where of where shall we go next???
Attended with fitzy_1965 on our way into Canberra today. Always good to be able to make a difference to an area. Thanks for hosting RWD
Just made it here in time after getting stuck in a big traffic jam on the Hume Highway. Thanks Rapidlywild for the event!
Attended with minniek and a dedicated bunch of CITOer / Cachers from all around.A convenient CITO while on our way into Canberra today. I think these CITOs in the VC Rest Areas do make a difference as they are always filthy. I envied the enthusiasm and energy of the younger ones here today. Soon it was time to continue heading into Canberra for a CostCo run and of course more caches and an event. Thanks Rapidlywild !! Keep them coming !
This event seemed like a good excuse to drive towards Collector and lake Gorge and enjoz some caching around here afterwards. I wasn't sure if it work out, but after the family was up quite early and eating breakfast at 9:30 it looked like this could work out. I had to do some jobs before I left and the car need a bit more jucie to drive aroudn all day, so I got going rather on the late side, hoping I would make up some time while I was driving. Sure enough I made it and was greated by a jolley round of cachers Nice to catch up with all. And after about another 15 minutes everyone went thier way continuing with thier caching plans. For me that was the nearby wineries then Collector. Thank you Rapidlywild for putting this event on and organizing it all.
Signed the logbook darksidedan. Thanks for the fan, the Adventure and the cito.
Thanks for organising this CITO Rapidlywild. It was good to see the difference that everyone made. SL
Far more rubbish in the area than first meets the eye. Plenty of yucky toilet paper collected, with tongs of course, as well as rotting rubbish and a pair of sunglasses . Collectively it was a good haul of rubbish! Small group big impact. Thanks for organising in such a beautiful location honouring our war heroes. TFTE Rapidlywild!
