For Joint FTF award for this BO'C Event I have selected CurlieBunny666 who was not staying with us but made the effort to come over to Jervis Bay from Vincentia to join us (actually he came all the way down from Spring Farm to be with us) AND Its_Dozzie and Pearl for cutting short their mirth and merriment at the Flamin Galah to return to Callala Beach to prepare a 'succulent Chinese meal' for our OCT LWE group going by the acronym IM ZEBRA (or MIC ZEBRA). Our group plus others who joined us really enjoyed this local microbrewery after a great day out geocaching.
This October Long-Weekend just past saw a group of 8 geocachers from Sydney venture down the coast to the Jervis bay area, staying at beautiful Callala Beach. Several other geocachers who were in the area for the LWE joined us at some of the 4 Events that we held over the weekend. The weather was glorious, the views were spectacular, the wide variety of caches were enjoyable, and a lot of fun was had. Time to Archive this Event. Thanks to all who Attended.
Another great pick for a venue. Not sure if its busy like this normally, but it was packed full of people this long weekend.
#15178 17:49A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Besides going out and finding caches, the group attended a total of 4 events. With two breweries in Husky, there had to be a Beer O'Clock event in each one of them during our October Long Weekend stay in Callala Beach. Unfortunately no beer for me as I had to rush home to prepare a succulent Chinese meal for the Zebra crew after a big day of driving and caching.TFTE
Thank you, EH for organising and putting on an Event almost at my doorstep. Good to catchup with the merry group of happy cachers at a lovely venue
Had a great day caching around the Jervis Bay area and finished with a great Event at the Flamin Galah Microbrewery. A good chance to rehydrate and debrief the big day. TFTE
Of course I will be there. Looking forward to spending the Long Weekend in the Jervis Bay area.
