Logs
Been a long time between visits to Dunedin. I wasnt able to do the MEGA there but managed to get things together and come down from Auckland for 5 days and 4 nights after the fact. On my own this visit, usually come with others, so rather quiet on my own this time around. Ive rented a small but great white Toyota Yaris and intend to get as many caches as I can. Day 4 of my adventure. About to start shortly a power trail down by the airport, will be my best day of caching at the end of the day. Wasn't a quick find, but knew it couldn't be hard, found it and then carried on quickly.
Very funny, could have easily missed this driving past, but stopped for the cache here. I can remember both Wilsons, especially watching Home Improvement.... more power Tim..... TFTC
I never thought Id be visiting Waihola but a very late intercity bus and a driver that required break meant we were stopping just 40 minutes after we started. On the positive side, the timetabled break is somewhere without geocaches so Waihola was a win. Walked a little too far and wondered what the description was talking about. Backtracked and immediately saw where I should be looking. Funny.
Travelling around South Island for 2 weeks while in NZ. Finding caches here and there. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Hey Tuitigger, are you still in Dunners?Yes, I am. I'm just getting another Natalie247 cache before I head home!Mr Wilson wanted me to pick up a backpack that was left behind at the camp ground. It seemed fitting that this was my last cache of the Mega weekend... another Natalie247 cache, Mr Wilson requiring help, and that it was a smiley face of some sorts.I wonder how many found logs Natalie has in her inbox over the last few days?
Out with woolwood9 after attending the MEGA in Dunedin.SL *tm/ww NZ* or *tm/ww*.We enjoyed the drive / walk around! Heading back into Dunedin from our overnight in Milton.*Thanks for the fun cache.* Not until we were close by we noticed the name - very good fun location!
Out and about enjoying the gems of our country Here enjoying our first ever Mega, in Dunedin. Meeting lots of people, some are familiar. Getting out and discovering new places and putting more smilies on my map.Home time after an awesome weekend in Dunedin. Great time was had, now back to reality Loved this cache but it took MrF to spot Mr Wilson, I had come from behind. TFTC worth a fav point
Very cool location. Gets a fav point from me.Here for the 2024 Mega with a group from Auckland. Sorry for the generic logs. Thank you to all the cache owners who placed the caches to support my addiction. Most logs signed as SEAC.
We are in Dunedin for the Mega and this is day 3 of our trip. We planned to get numbers today so headed to the series down this way. All logs signed with SEAC (South East Auckland Crew) {unless otherwise required int he cache} as there are 5 caching names in the group; stik-a-crane, unclesam, NZTravellers, Keylev and us. A lot of fun was had, lots of laugh and memories made with friends.Amazing gardsns here. Fav point for cache location
Team SEAC consisting of HeMaLuDy, Stik-a-crane, UncleSam, Keylev and ourselves headed to Dunedin for the 2024 MEGA!All logs were signed as SEAC to save paper (except where specific signing requirements were requested)Third day of our Mega weekend. The weather although wet wasn't as cold as yesterday. Thanks to all the CO's who had maintained the caches as we found a majority with fresh paper and containers!Fav point due t hedge design!TFTC

After finishing those we wandered in the general direction of our home for the weekend, caching along here.Spied Wilson as we parked uphow cool! Cache soon located. Thanks for the cache - a fav point for the location. Signed SEAC (South East Auckland Crew)
Korokio/ wire netting bush? Very well done. Great GZ, and a fun cache, so it's worth a favorite point. Last of the dayThank you, Natalie247
A nice quick find at a fun location. A fav point from me!. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are off on a cruise around the south of the South. Great to be away. The day was wet, off and on, to start with, but the afternoon turned fine. One of my worst dnf days ever! 6 out of 25. I must have been reading the notes wrong or something Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Someone has put a bit of effort into Wilson - love him! We had a chat to a couple of locals who wandered past while we admired Wilson. Found with Spoonz2
After a day down south visiting gorgeous gardens, we had to stop off here and grab this cache. Someone has a good sense of humor.
