Our first cache in Australia! Found in the dark on a quick stopover in Campbelltown on our way down to Melbourne. Had to wait for a family of muggles to leave before we could get to the cache which added to the fun. TFTC.
Friday caching with oldmorty. Today, we are in the Campbelltown area, and this is the first cache of the day.At GZ, oldmorty started moving along the row, calling out numbers 1573 1572 etc, and I moved in from the other. We met at 1570.Oldmorty had no trouble spotting the cache. It would have taken me a lot longer. Thanks to Quiffle for a great cache.
Frazeydaze and I headed down to Campbelltown today to hunt down some caches that had been placed since our last visit here. This was the first cache on the list and after parking outside Richmond Villa we walked around to gz for a quick find once we'd fouund 1570. It appears that the Council has a catalogue of the trees in the City as we noticed other trees today with similar tags.Cache is all good. SLRC as found. TFTC and the history of the naval ship Sydney 2.
9 November 2024This is find number: 10473Streak Day: 3250Found Today with Snoopy1976, after working out the hint this was a quick find. ThanksThanks to Quiffle for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Streak Day #4139 - Out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day, stopped by and took a bit to find. Not a nice place here, future finders please beware of the syringes. TFTC
Just back from Western Australia where we visited the Australia II memorial and were given an interesting tour by Trevor, one of the local volunteers. I did not know there was one here and it is good to know the local sailors who perished are honoured here.Normally I do not enjoy caces in similar locations. I have a bit of a record of not being able to find my own hides. A bit of searching around located the curious hint so I knew I was on track. Thanks Quiffle for the hide. It was also helpful as I was visiting Glenavalon House so a great location.
Plenty of parking nearby. Quick find with helpful hint. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC Quiffle
That took some time as it was getting dark, and we were tired. I was a bit concerned that I was loitering around the back of the nearby facility. Part of the hint didn't make sense until I saw something else on another tree. That narrowed down the options, and it was then a very quick find. I too found the solo maraca, and decided it could become a future cache camo. TFTC
Paid a visit this morning and placed fresh log in cache. Located cache back in safer (out of view) position. Thanks to mobi702 for informing me promptly of the circumstances.Makes for a happier caching experience for everybody.
Found but no log inside the containerI am with naterrysmum I will message the owner about the log TFTC
Grew up here but havent been here for 24 years...happened to be wander on Q festival tonight...had to find a few this was first campbelltown one...tftc
Hidden in an out of the way location. Very good. Thanks for the hint. This could have possibly been a D4 without it. Still took a few minutes just to find the hint. A very nicely camoed cache. TFTC Quiffle
At least the facility this was way too close to, was useful. A quick find thankfully. TFTC.
Found cache in hiding spot. At first I found a maraca in tree1572 and thought what a neat camo, however it was only a solo maraca and I left it there; but was tempted to take it. I love these well hidden caches away from muggle eyes...TFTC
Nicely concealed, blends with in well. Usually use the seating for a paper read when car is being repaired.Used to work in the same street years ago. TFTC
Brilliant camo , I was barking up the wrong way until the penny dropped. Great . This area has changed since I lived in this area . TFTC Quiffle FP
