This was our last morning in the Margaret river area, and with the wife let curled up in bed I headed off with a goal of hitting the challenge series up near Dunsbourgh. I took off at about 5am and found all bar I in the series that required a tott I didnt have on board. After finding a safe place to park I was soon at ground zero with cache in hand and pen ready to record my name for prosperity. Cache was safely returned and off onto the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by like minded individuals.Cheers
Nice and easy. Just how I like themIn Dunsborough for a few days and out collecting mostly challenge caches.PollyTheCollie, I found Phoenix series - Marybrook Siding today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Spending a couple of nights in Busselton after a busy WAGB in Augusta, having a quiet caching day just mopping up some local caches.TFTC PollyTheCollie this is find #17850 for us.
On our way home from the fantastic WAGB2024 Event in Augusta. Time for a few more smilies on the way. TFTC PollyTheCollie
Headed down to Augusta today en route to WAGB24 via a heap of backroads and country towns. Left home early this morning with huge distances to cover and huge numbers of caches to chase down.A great days caching and a few more milestones ticked over! Thanks for the cache - please excuse the generic log.
Today we have taken the day off work to have time to geocache while meandering our way down to WAGB 2024 in Augusta . As we were heading down Bussell Hwy we went to the service station to fill up and then we got the notice that a new Adventure Lab had been placed in Capel , how fortunate we were only ten to fifteen minutes away. Once the Adventure Lab was complete we hit the highway again. Our loose plan for the day was to collect a few outstanding straggler caches in the Busselton, Dunsborough ,Yallingup and Margaret River areas as well as few new ones that have been placed in recent times . We undertook a nice walk out to Quininup Falls and Wilyabrup Rocks before making our way into Augusta at a decent hour ready for the first event . It was a pleasant overcast day so perfect for caching, however being September and lots of long grass we had our eyes peeled at all times for snakes. All in all a great start to the WAGB long weekend. This was our second cache find of the day after also collecting a new Adventure Lab. We have completed these siding caches previously and enjoyed them then and certainly enjoyed these ones today . This road was actually quite busy when we pulled over this morning . The Cache itself was soon located . Thanks for the cache find Polly the Collie .
In Augusta for the WAGB 2024 celebrations. We are on the road again hunting down some more smilies. Thanks for adding to our fun today.
Out with iluvtrekking to grab a few caches placed since our last visit. After doing the cycle rail caches we stopped to grab this mini series on the way to Cowaramup. Thanks PollyTheCollie
Were out and about doing a whole day of caching, you never know where one is going to end up.We felt a little djvu here, we found one here quite a few years ago.We enjoy wandering around looking for the relics of the old railway sidings. Its great to see the pegs in place, surveyed and getting ready to finish rebuilding the railway line as a walk/cycle path through to Augusta. An added bonus of a #FTF# Thanks for the memories TFTCA fav point here for keeping the history alive
