On a road trip with Jag 50 A quick park and grab here.Thanks.

A plan was made with Net61 to find the caches along the HRT trail. We have ridden the trail before, but today we were doing it with 4 wheels (car) rather than 2 (bike). The sun was out, but the day was not too hot - perfect weather for this series. A nice quick park and grab here, and we were back in the car on our way to Matamata. TFTC

Thanks to the CO for planning and setting out this power trail. Nice to be a part of it with my own cache. Most of them are quick park and grabs but the odd one taking a bit more time.

Nice and easy find here ...thank goodness...As Gorby has said, we were both pretty wet by this stage , And it was impossible to keep our phones dry. I kept wiping mine with my cotton scarf .

I had a plan to come down from Auckland with supernannny to do the HRT trail from Te Aroha to Matamata. But she had offered to drive us everywhere in her hybrid car which is soo cheap to run and which was really nice of her. It was pouring with rain when she arrived to pick me up at 7am, did some caches along the way apart from the power trail, visited a friend in Hamilton for a much needed coffee, then home about 10pm. No issues with this one, apart from the rain. I'm fast getting used to a wet bum, wet shoes and trying to keep the phone dry. But we're having fun, and having some laughs along the way.

Travelling back down to Opotiki for work and as I had left earlier I wanted to cache on the way down to add to our numbers. I had checked and found a new addition to the HRT trail and this looked just the sort of detour that would be of interest. All the caches along this trail were in good condition and were easy to find and log. I took note of all the clues in the lids for future reference. Thanks for setting this trial up!

After a few hours of geocaching along the trail it was almost time to head home but we couldn't resist grabbing a few more and headed to this one where we made nice quick find. Some of the cows in the nearby paddock showed a bit of interest in what we were up to but most preferred to enjoy lazing in the sun.TFTC

**22,180**There are indeed many flat fields in this area. Mrs Geckoh is especially fond of this route, as it brings back childhood memories of visiting relatives in Stanley Road, Te Aroha every Christmas and traveling this route to get there. A lovely day to enjoy this well set out power trail. TFTC
