Catching up with recent local finds, done while "not caching". Drive up the pass very regularly, glad to see good parking options near the cache and I picked a time there was nobody aroundTFTC Wilbert67
Out for a tourist drive with some family staying with us. Came up the pass, stopping for a quick find.TFTC
Heading to Sydney after some errands north of home, took the Pass up to grab this one on the way. Timed well with no one on my tail as I pulled over for a quick find.
Very quick find today, first place we looked. Glad to have no one here at all, unlike last Saturday! As I drove here I tried to calculate how many times I've been up and down this road. It would be thousands.Cheers
We were driving to Sydney this evening and pulled over to find this cache. Alas there were four bike riders standing about 0.5m from GZ putting bikes on their cars. Time poor, we did not have enough time to wait, so will have to stop here another time.
Saw the FTF still available on this one, decided to attempt to get it before it was too late . Would have logged a DNF if it was daylight hours, but considering it is pitch black and we only had a phone light, we decided to give up and let the FTF attempt go. Will try again another time during daylight hours. Annoying that we came from about 30km away (Sutherland) only to not find. But I guess it is part of the geocaching life.
Well there you go, still available this afternoon so coming back from Appin had a squiz and there in the first place I looked was a shiny new cache.Not sure what the little container in there was for but a quick sign of the blank log and replace and on my way.TFTCFTFIronbark.
