#15199 17:01A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Besides going out and finding caches, the group attended a total of 4 events.At the end of the geocaching day, and before the NRL Grand Final, we came together at the beach for this CITO event. It was amazing what was found under the boardwalk. It turned out to be a 'Cache and Earn' event as we collected many bottles and cans.Afterwards it was time to enjoy a swim and relax at the beach.TFTE
I did pick up some rubbish, but I spent some lovely time on the beach in the afternoon shade watching doggos frolicking.
We are going to still going to attend this event, however, we have contacted the CO about an issue with our Geocaching Account meaning we cannot log an attend log on the App because we cannot log into the app. We can only log ANY type of log on the Geocaching Website. It may take longer than usual for our logs to appear in the system. We will still attend the event and do some caching around the area, see you all soon.MaxI125 - Jordan | Gavin

Thanks to Brewmaker for organizing.It was good to catch-up with the zebra crew again before we go our separate ways. Thanks for organizing rhe beautiful weather for the CITO and late afternoon swim.
[FTF]Saw this event when it was first published, we decided to head down from Sydney for 1 day and attend the CITO event. Lovely catch-up with everyone who attended and had a lovely chat with the CO. We gathered lots of rubbish from the beach and grassy hills of the beach, before returning to the CO just after everyone but the CO had left. Thanks for organising this event BrewMaker and we hope to see you and other cachers again soon! And thanks for assisting me in finding some caches whilst helping me to 400 finds without knowing you did! Appreciate it!Now back to Sydney (Sutherland Shire) we go. Maybe some more caches on the way home?TFTE and thanks for letting us have the FTF!
Picked up a bit of rubbish a cache and we returned for the rewarding swim afterwards
Thanks, everyone, for coming along to help clean up Callala. On first appearances, it looked like the area was quite clean, but we still managed to fill a few bags of rubbish. We had a good turnout of CITO Crusaders, who came from near and far. A special mention to MaxI125 and his dad, who came all the way from Sydney for the day to help out. You can have FTF if you like. YAY! Looks like WE ARE ATTENDING TOMORROW! As long as the traffic is on our side and there is no road/traffic incidents, we will make it ontime and maybe even do some caching in the areas nearby. Looking forward to seeing everyone and some new faces! A BEAUTIFUL SPOT for an Event!!! Who knows, a swim might be a good idea too? THERE WILL BE 2 OF US ATTENDING.
